 | SpartanPride (20) 02/26/2007 | Well, Ottawa is my team, but I think hockey lives in Edmonton. Anyway, cocky? If anything, Toronto is the most cocky team in this league, they think they can throw away good goalies like Belfour and not have to worry about it. And heck, most teams aren't the original six. Vancouver relies on a goalie, Edmonton's on a slump, Calgary's lost it, Toronto not even making the play-offs, Montreal is only because the beggining of the year. If your s Canadian, it's your only chance of seeing a Canadian team holding the cup. By the way, they didn't get knocked out first last year.

 | pollito (0) 08/01/2006 | Hockey belongs in Ottawa. It always has and always should be. Truly a remarkable franchise that is as exciting in 2006 as it was back in 1906.

 | jimorama (3) 06/09/2006 | Need to address their playoff deficincies. Need some grit up front..and probably a new coach. Need a Pat Burns type...
Otherwise...watching them kick the Leafs 8-2 in Ottawa this winter was joy in itself.

 | TorontoRULES45 (0) 01/23/2006 | They are way to cocky and that is going to back fire when it comes time for the playoffs. The other teams including the Leafs are going to ready for them and as soon as u know it, the sens will be packing up there lockers and going to play golf for the summer.

 | prunytown@yahoo.com (0) 12/26/2005 | I am currently wathcing the Senators beat the Rangers with some help from Kevin Weekes weak ass and the refs. But what makes me sick is Ottawas announcers. Jesus they sound so glib. It makes me want to bitch slap a Canadian, no doubt aboot it. I will applaud loudly when the Sens are once again sent home in the first round.

 | JSalmon (2) 12/17/2005 | Ill give them 2 stars for now, but as good as they are now, I really wonder what will happen at showtime when they need to push for the second round: will they make it or not give it their all?

 | statman (0) 12/04/2005 | The team stats and the player stats speak for themselves. This team is a power house with no weaknesses in any positions. Even their backup goalie is (Emery) is first rate. Stats aside this team is exciting to watch reminisent of the firewagon hockey of the 1970's Montreal Canadiens. Unless the rules change before the playoffs the Sens will likely enjoy equal success there and if they don't make it to the Stanley Cup finals then it will be due to major injuries to several key players. Their depth is amazing.

 | i told you so (0) 11/25/2005 | the senators are by far the best team ever. They are going to win the presidents cup, alresdsson will be M.V.P, Chara noris trofie. AND AT THE END OF THE YEAR THE STANLEY CUP.

 | Senatorfan (0) 11/08/2005 | Fantastic team to watch, especially when they beat up no-talent teams like the Toronto Make-Me-Laffs. Speed, size and skill are the most important assets to have in the new NHL, unlike the old days where a tow-rope sufficed (see Shayne Corson's career).

 | bloom (0) 06/15/2003 | Most talented team, well-managed, and the model-franchise for the rest of the league. Half the players are draft-picked, which only shows the strength of the farm system. Only team in the league to have problems with too MANY players in each position. Extremely young team with unlimited potential. Their Cup isn't too far off.

 | palinurus (0) 01/20/2003 | A great Canadian team. In the great Canadian tradition, all good players will be traded within a year or two to dump salaries. CBG better straighten this out because I'm getting tired of watching everyone but Toronto be a world class farm team for the US market.

 | diamond_1966 (0) 01/10/2003 | Best managed team in the league. Low salaries, great players who work as a team. Buried in gov't taxes and debt. which put's it at a disadvantage. High attendance at games and great team spirit amongst fans.

 | lukskywlkr. (3) 01/09/2003 | Give full credit to this team. They have been playing without pay, their team is in turmoil over the whole potential bankruptcy thing, and they are still playing hard and winning.
