I've been with First Republic for a couple of years now. They are terrific. When you call them on the phone a real, live, English-speaking, educated and courteous human being actually answers the phone, and in the United States of America! Incredible! They know me by name, and they are always super helpful, competent, and knowledgeable. They don't charge you for using any ATMs anywhere in the world! They actually reimburse you all the fees from other banks. Amazing! They don't have many physical branches, but I usually don't go to the branches anyway. Who wants to stand in line? Deposits are done by mail, and they give you prepaid envelopes, so in a way, the mail is part of their banking system. Brilliant. They are exceptional in my eyes. I highly recommend them.
