05/18/2005 | Lemaire has not made winners out of this team. A CHL team could win 50 games playing the trap in the NHL. It's the most boring style of hockey ever, gee I wonder why Minnesota never gets a large attendance. The trap is not hockey it's a cheap way of winning.

05/06/2003 | Lemaire: The best coach ever, to coach any team ... here's why. Lemaire has and is taking a no-name team roster and making winners out of them. Proved himself with the Devils & continues to inject his winning philosophies into the current, Minnesota Wild. Have you ever, assessed the payroll and the bottom-feeders Lemaire has at his disposal? He, no doubt, would give credit to the other members of his coaching staff, for the teams success. As a hockey player himself, Lemaire was a true winner. He played hard, used his brain, and could shoot a puck with dead accuracy. He expects this from his team ... in the short of it, he brings the best out of a team. Now; this IS coaching !!!

06/23/2000 | This was a great move by Minnesota. Lemaire has been successful everywhere he has been, leading both the Canadians and Devils to the Cup. In fact, after Lou Lamarillo, he is the man who is most responsible for the Devils' success in recent years. He built their defensive-minded system that is still in place today. Lemaire is the perfect choice if you are looking to build your franchise.
