well sd started with a 0-2 start but are 5-4 with a really tough schedule and haven't lost by more than a touchdown, this team is good, but have to finish in the 2nd half.

This is an OK team so far. They really need to work on a few things and they will be playoff bound soon! GO CHARGERS!

I've gotta upgrade them. I don't think they are there yet, but Tomlinson is dangerous. They have overcome an 0-2 start to level out and aren't out of anything yet.

Wait a minute, let's look back on the season. 1-2 is not a great start, but check this out, smells like a good team to me. The record doesn't prove a thing. Win a couple more games and maybe you can earn yourself a position in a glamorous media spotlight like the over rated Patriots.

Fire Marty, hire a new GM, and get some help for LT, and you guys might be an average team.

Hey , Rivers , you dodged Peppers in college , but when you come to Charlotte, he's gonna snap your back , son. People , don't send me a bunch of football comments, because I only care about basketball. State was decent in football , and they kind of ran with that since they suck at everything else. Sooooooooooooooooo , since they are so proud of that , I can't wait to see Peppers crush their golden boy. I'm from North Carolina..................I could care less about football. I just don't like State thinking they finally have something on Carolina . They are nothing. All this is Tarheel territory.....................I don't care if State has Joe Montana.

they need to trade ladanian tomlinson because hes way too talented and doesnt deserve to get stuck on this team. he had 1600 yards which was more than clinton portis and made all of them behind one of the worst o-lines in the league. also 100 receptions which was more than marvin harrison. theres the only good part of the chargers. they should fire their coach too, he's an idiot who doesn't know how to manage.

It's a toss up between Oakland, Detroit, Jacksonville, and these guys as to who's the worst team in the NFL. The ships at San Diego's Navy bases should shoot the stadium when they practice to end the agony their fans must surely go through. Watching Drew Brees play is like watching a Mexican donkey show... terribly wrong yet strangely you keep watching it. Now they are starting Doug Flutie. The best thing about him is that he had a crappy Corn Flakes imitation cereal made with his name on it, and it tastes like eating sawdust. Flutie had no arm whatsoever when he could still play, and now old age has robbed him of his scrambling ability. David Boston is a horrible leader, and LaDanian Tomlinson is damned to obscurity on this weak and fragile team. If he's smart he'll demand a trade to a better team... no wait, is there a worse one?

A little premature, but with the offseason moves they made, can they finally turn it around??? LT/Brees/Boston could be the next Emmitt/Aikman/Irwin.

Throw in consistency to their blue collar play, and you have a tough football team. If LT can get a little help carrying the team, they may improve in rankings and actually make the playoffs.

The jury is still out on San Diego with Schottenheimer. Bress, Boston and Tomlinson may be one of the best young offensive units to come along in a while. Their defense took a huge hit when they let Seau go; I disagree with that decision 100%. Gotta keep those veterans especially when they're still productive like Seau.

They're really trying this year. Schottenheimer was the "Schott" in the arm that they really needed. Mike Riley was the Mr. Rodgers of NFL, he severely lacked discipline.
