I felt neutral about them before and would have given them 2 stars but they played so atrociously the other night they get an extra star for sympathy. Seriously, it seemed like the only Seahawk player who showed up and was ready was Matt Hasselbeck, who actually threw for twice as many yards as Ben Rothlesberger. Unfortunately Matt had no help and support from his teammates, who dropped passes and made stupid errors and penalties that cost them dearly. Had whats his face made the two catches he dropped, the score would have been 24-21 and Seattle would be Super Bowl champs today.

This is the Hawks FIRST appearance in the big game. They played what, 4 playoff teams all year. They can score and Alexander is a spotlight player. They got to play Arizona, SF and STL twice.me and my 4 sons could score on them.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? How can anyone justify the fact that the Seahawks are rated so low on this website??? They have one of the best quarterbacks in football, Matt Hasselbeck, and possibly one of the greatest halfbacks of all times in Shaun Alexander. Their coach Mike Holmgren is one of the greats and they have one of the best offensive lines ever, how do you think that Shaun Alexander did so well? Alexander happened to have the most rushing yards in football this year, and also just happened to break the record of most touchdowns in a season, and took home the MVP easily. Lets not forget other players on the team, such as Hutchinson, Jones, Tubbs, Wistrom, Sharper, Jurevicius, Engram, Morris, Wobeck, Jackson, Strong, Tatupu, Trufant, and Dyson you have a ridiculous team. Its disgraceful and disgusting that the Seahawks are rated so low, it speaks loads about this entire website and the people that rate on here, they are totally uninformed and ignorant. The Seahawks should at least be in the top 5 rated NFL teams on here, going 13-3 and making it to the Super Bowl, while having the MVP deserves a little more respect than this crap.

Ok so all these comments on here are old for the exception of the one on 11/18/2005 even though its somewhat old. Now the Hawks are 13-3. They are the second best team in the league with a record breaking running back. A top 5 rated quarterback and a defense that allows few points. This has been a great year for this team. They barely drop the ball anymore and Holmgren has finally brought the team together and everything is clicking. They will be a tough team to stop in the playoffs. We will find out this Saturday weather or not this team is for real.

I have been a fan for years & think Holmgren has finally built the team he has wanted for a long time. The rest of their season is easier than some teams, except for the Colts. I predict they will make it into the 2nd round of play-offs, at the very least if everyone can continue to stay healthy. Our receivers are much better, we finally have a great and cohesive offensive line to protect our QB, Hasselback is having a great season, and our defense is finally firing on all cylinders too!! Go Hawks!!

koren has no hands and jerry rice is already really old. they just need to step it up. ive seen them go back way to much on their heels only to lose the game. we could have done a lot better this 04-05 season

Can you say I don't really know crap about this team because the media doesn't cover them. Probably the best team you won't hear about this season.

This team is great they have one of the best running games in the league [ thanks to Shaun Alexander] not to mention koren robinson is a pretty good wr and matt hasslebeck isn't to good but when he retires they'll get someone better they also have marcus trufant who is a great defensive catcher and John Randle who is retiring was a seven time pro bowler and has tons of sacks not to mention Darrel jackson another good wide reciever and seatlle got to the playoffs so they have to be good even if they lost to green Bay not to mention al the players are kind people and always are considerate their naot a holes like a lot of nfl teams

This team is nowhere near as good as their 6-2 record say they are, and I look for a second half slip that will see them in the 9-7 range, and probably finish second to St. Louis and miss the playoffs completely. The best player on offense is Shaun Alexander, who should rush for around 1,200 yards if he can stay healthy. Matt Hasselbeck, I'm sorry Seattle fans, is just not that good. Pro Bowl and SCRUB just don't go together that well. The NFC is sucking so bad compared to the AFC, this career backup is actually being mentioned in the same breath as that normally elite-players-only consideration. Hasselbeck wouldn't even rate in the top 50 of all-time q.b.'s. They are in a relatively weak division and have a schedule that isn't very hard. They lost to the BENGALS for crying out loud and were destroyed in Green Bay. They might be 8-2 after Washington and Detroit, but they have Baltimore, Minnesota, and St. Louis coming up. If they lost to the BENGALS, losses to the likes of the Browns, Cardinals, and 49ers, are definitely not outta the question.

This team may be on the rise because of attention to the defense during the off season. Signing Chike Okeafor was important, because now you have 3 experienced Defenseiv Linemen on a team that was one of the wort in the legue against the run last year. Ray Rhodes was hired to coach the defense. Sean Alexander is always a threat to score, so that shouuld take pressure off Hasselback and the passing game. The Seahawks will finish second in the NFC West thanks to a stupid management decision by the San Fran powers that be.

Holmgren is hanging onto his job by a thread. this inconsistent team is not getting any better. I can't name 5 guys on the Seahawks.

The Seahawks have a great team, but they need more practice. But who knows, maybe someday the Seahawks will butcher the rest of the nation's teams just like Seattles baseball team does!
