Consistently respectable year in and year out. Speaks volumes about the quality of management and coaching.

Titans are doing it with defense. Pass rush is phenomenal, safety's are leading the league in picks. And the run game - the 1-2 punch of Lendale White getting the short games and Chris Johnson, explosive speed is picking up some serious yards. While Kerry Collins is getting up there he is not making a ton of mistakes, very consistent and has yet to be sacked. I believe the Titans will make a good run this year.

there okay i dont watch them much only when they play my team
ir 05/03/2008
they need to get rid of lendale white because he is slow and is only making the titans look bad.
mangrizzly 01/31/2007
I am from tennessee and i used to like the titans but i think they suck now. i used to be a di-hard football fan until after 9/11 when look who won the superbowl. The patriots. right after a terrorist attack when the country is in a time of tumoil and when everyone was putting the flag outside their house look who won the superbowl and look what their colors are. The colors that inspire a nation to rise and remember where we came from and how we had to fight to get here. then look who won after that the same team. thats why i think football is rigged and thats why i switched to professional wrestling.

Based on potential on offense they are a 4. Based in Reality they are a 1, so a 2 it is. Lendale White is at a cross roads right now; He'll either be a good, solid back who ends his career with 7,000 or 8,000 yards, or he'll turn into a PG-13 Rated Maurice Clarrett. He needs to get down off the pedistal in his own mind and buckle down. I'm deathly afraid that Vince Young will suffer from the Michael Vick Syndrome; an overrated quarterback who shows his potential one play then makes a terrible , drive ending throw the next. They have a handful of great defensive players, but in the end they'll have a top 10 pick in next year's draft.

Crappy Team.
John Candy 09/26/2005
As a Jacksonville Jaguar fan, I can't help but give these guys a 4. I really mean it when I say they're a good team, but face it, I just can't take part in this team as much as one would like. I feel obligated to hate this team because of my Jags. Sorry, good ball club though.

Consistently ranked by sportswriters, players, coaches and NFL employees as one of the top 5 football organizations in the League. Great team, great attitude, great pride and morale, excellent coaching staff, GM and front office, outstanding legacy as a franchise, great city to live in and fans to play for (speaking from experience), easily one of the most respectable and respecTED franchises in the NFL. Sorry that all you naysayers are so obviously misinformed. Don't base your entire opinion on one bad season that was plagued by injuries, few teams have accomplished what they did between 1997 and 2004. They have the foundation necessary to properly re-tool, rebuild, and come back. We hope Coach Fisher will NOT go ANYwhere until he retires in 20 more years or so.

Doing a grand job, will get better when they have a change of coach....
martinema 12/21/2004
Thay have a good team but a bad coach
hamchat1 11/20/2004
they sux. only DECENT player is mcnair
jmoney52 10/03/2004
The only reason I gave these guys 3 stars instead of two was because of McNair. If he goes down they suck.
Blanco~Nino 08/30/2004
Although the titans are not bad by any stretch, they lost key components that will cause them to falter this year. With Kearse and George gone, someone will have to step up in both areas. Alas, they have yet to aquire serious void fillers. However, as long as Mcnair is at the helm, the Titans will always be some sort of contender. However, I think this years team will finally be too much for old Steve to carry on his own.

Great team.
cod cobbler 04/02/2004
Tough team. I hate when the my team has to play against them. Eddie George is showing a little wear and tear but McNair continues to impress.
konflict21 03/13/2004
The worst is yet to come! HAHA
Todd Parker 12/18/2003
Overall, I think they have a pretty cool-looking uniform. The helmet/logo is a little weak, though.
roblinb 11/08/2003
While I'm not totally sold on these guys, Steve McNair is doing good things with this team. He truly is a winner with a lot of talent, and he wills this team to victory sometimes. The defense is opportunistic, and I think they will make the playoffs as (at least) a wild card team this year. I expect some bumps along the way, especially since Eddie George can't get it done anymore, but 10-6 is reasonable. If McNair gets hurt, this team could be in trouble.
titan_9_mcnair 06/14/2003
i used to be a dallas cowboys fan and was for many years until i saw the titans, best team in a long time
intoxicatedalc hohali 05/04/2003

lowrider 04/29/2003
who?
Rusty 04/22/2003
Once a Houston Oiler, always a Houston Oiler. Jeff Fisher is a terrible coach
TheMyth 04/13/2003
I can't stand the Titans, as I'm a hard core Jaguar fan. But I will give them props; I was estatic when they started off horribly. Then Steve McNair and the boys started a run. Carlos Hall played brilliantly as Jevon Kearse's backup before he was hurt too. He has a lot of upswing, and may be a big name End in a few years. Hopefully my boys can take down the Titans next year.
Gecklund311 01/12/2003
My favorite team - a group of really tough guys with a lot of heart. They don't always look the best doing it, but they usually find a way to win; as far as entertainment value goes they are high because they usually play close games. The heart of the team is now Steve McNair who is along with Brett Favre the toughest quarterback I have ever seen.
irene_lvs_ep_1 3 02/05/2002
Tennessee is great not my favortie team but they're cool I still think they should have won the super bowl against st.louis!
Lord of the Waves 10/20/2001
Yeah Titans. Formerly oilers. My favorite team in football. not doing very well this year unfortunately. mcnairs surgery made him less good.
joseph oyoka 01/03/2001

They are great.
NicoleRR 01/02/2001
Tennessee has the best team and the best player, Steve McNair. They are going to make it to the superbowl. But you already new that.
dperry09 12/19/2000
As an avid Bills fan, I hated watching the music city miracle last year, but who can deny one of (if not the) best team in football?
Lcarlene 11/18/2000
They are exciting to watch!!!!!
mano9828om 08/16/2000
Already the best atmposhere in Pro football to see a game.Hope to see them rip the goalposts down sometime this year!
Munson 01/29/2000
It's amazing how one trick play can change the fortunes of a team. Eddie George is one of the top RBs in the NFL, but McNair is not yet a top flight QB. He is the best running QB, but he never throws the ball down field. I can't seem their defense stopping the Ram offense.
ITAR2616OM 12/10/1999
FOR HAVING AN INEXPERIENCED QB THEY ARE DOING VERY WELL. GEORGE HAS BEEN OUTSTANDING.
