From an ex-employee on another review site, it sounds like they run a huge phone room calling prospective clients which can create real problems. Anyone know how they select the companies to call? I have not used their service.

Ecommerce Positioning has been professional and courteous to me. Of the three companies I had for my website, (Builder, Dropshipper, SEO) Ecommercepositioning was the only one who actually did work. I was told by my builder ($24,000) that I would have the site paid off in 7 months. That didn't happen. My dropshipper wouldn't stop changing the rules on me. ($1,000 at 7 months) Ecommerce Positioning offered me a program for a little over $1,700. They told me up front, "it takes time...we can't guarantee sales...you will see an increase in traffic after the first 3 months." It happened exactly as they said it would. They provided me with proof of work, proof of rankings, and assisted me with some different google apps that I wanted on the website. P.S. (They warned me about this early on, but...) The best part was when I started getting calls from people who claimed affiliation with ecommerce positioning. After someone would try selling me something, I would call customer ... Read more

We have launched two sister-websites through StoresOnline.com for our parent company, and after each launch we've gotten several emails and phone calls from eCommerce Positioning saying that they are representatives from StoresOnline or partners with StoresOnline or something to the same degree. Each time, thankfully, I talk to the people and I know enough to be able to spot a sales call when I hear one. I just talked to one earlier today, and another one from the same company called about 20 minutes and talked to one of my bosses. When you hear from a company you've never heard of, always assume the call is unsolicited and is suspicious. And NEVER agree to pay for services unless you speak with the company apparently 'associated' with these representatives. Be very wary, people, the internet is full of people who are NOT your friends.

ECommerce Positioning is a company to be avoided like the plague! They scammed me out of more than $2000 last year by telling me they would get traffic coming to my website. I paid them by credit card, then after a couple of weeks I called them to see what the status of my site was and they had not yet started doing any work on it. I waited for another month and still no activity, and finally after 8 weeks I decided to cancel but they refused to refund any of my money. I went through the BBB and they argued that they had done everything to resolve the issue. The fact of the matter stands that eCommerce Positioning did not provide the service to me that they said they would. They scammed me out of my money and cannot be trusted. Upset

I was contacted by this company after publishing my first ecommerce website. They promised that my site would appear on the first page in 8 months or my money back. However, I typed in "ecommerce consulting" into Google search and they did not appear on the first of 10 pages I checked. So then, how good are they? I didnt sign up.

I think Ecommerce Positioning @ ecommercepositioning.com is a total waste of time and money. Here is why I wouldn't sign up with Ecommerce Positioning for SEO or any other service: 1). They haven't been in business long (http://discussionboard.prostores.com/showthread.php ?p=55888). 2). Their BBB review is horrible, especially given how new their site is (http://www.bbb.org/western-washington/business-reviews/internet-marketing-services/ecommerce-positioning-in-bothell-wa-22412997). 3). They rank no where for terms you'd think an SEO would rank for if they were any good. 4). They have several complaints online ranging from scam claims, fraud, the BBB, their state's Attorney General, etc (http://mail.scam.com/showthread.php?p=933239). 5). They have multiple complaints back to back on many other review sites like RateItAll (http://www.rateitall.com/i-2031626-ecommerce-positioning.aspx) 6). They guarantee position in Google, which is a huge red flag that Google themselves says to watch ... Read more

By far the worst experience I ever had with SEO provider. These jokers will take you to the cleaners and laugh all the way to the bank with your money. We agreed to try their service and after 90 days website traffic continues to decline and they cannot provide any documentation about what they have been doing. BEWARE and do your research before hiring them and or good luck getting your money back.

First thing, the person who left the only good review on this page is probably a scammer, or from the company himself, as his supposed website doesn't even exist. I don't want to jump the gun myself, but I signed up with the company 3 months ago after an extremely convincing 3 hour conversation with a sales rep who called me. I'm a rookie website owner, so of course I ate up everything he said. It's possible they've done good work for some, but I am currently very worried myself. I paid $2,040 for a 30 keyword package. They 'go over' the contract with you... reading this and that. STOP! READ THE WHOLE CONTRACT... which I just did a few minutes ago... at least most of it. The salesperson will tell you that if you don't get what you've verbally been sold on (basically page one rankings) then you'll get a full refund! Sounds great! WRONG! The contract has clear loopholes in their favor to where they will never have to give a refund. I'm very likely days away from trying to get a refund a... Read more

I have used eCommerce for about a month now and all I have to show for it is my website is down and no one will return a call to tell me why. My homepage is now gone according to my webhost (Homestead) and I have no way of retrieving it. When eCommerce "optomized" my homepage, they saved it in such a way as to take me offline and also make it impossible for me to access it through the Homestead program that allows me to make any necessary changes. I use Google adwords and have had to pause that because I'm down. I've called two days ago and left an URGENT message, emailed yesterday with another URGENT message and called three different employee contact numbers I was given when I was talked into this contract, again leaving URGENT messages. I don't think anyone there knows what URGENT means. Or they don't care!Their customer service "stinks!" I would not recommend them to anyone. I am in real estate and it is costing me with no return at all to date. Out of a rating of 1 to 6, ... Read more

Save your money. I signed up in August being told I would be seen for the Christmas shoppers. I have yet to sell 1 thing. Now 6 months later I am still not seen at all! I recieved a ranking report that said under a certain keyword I am ranked in several search engines on page 1-2 or 3. HAH! The keyword I am on those pages for is a product I do not even carry. They rarely return your calls. If you are lucky enough to get someone they say oh you need our special department to call you, I will make sure they will call you within 48 hours. They NEVER call back. What a waste of my money. I hope this posting can save someone from the bad mistake I made.

I signed on with Ecommerce Positioning in hopes that my wife and I could get our website listed under targeted keywords in Google and other search engines. My experience with this company have been less than desirable, to say the least. First of all, they had issues taking the correct amount from our accounts to pay for the service we signed up for. Finally, after several calls with them and our bank, and having to re-arrange funds, they were able to deduct the funds. The next day to our surprise we noticed they charged us nearly double the amount that was quoted. I immediately phoned the individual back who we signed up with and told them about the additional charges. The person made it sound as if the whole mess was my fault, and that mistakes happen, and said that they couldn't credit me back until after 72 hours was up. I told them this was unacceptable and demanded to cancel the whole thing. Later that day I was surprised to get yet another call from Ecommerce Positioning. I ass... Read more
