I lived in a Eberly Building before, all I can say is these people are lousy, why illegals aliens and felons as employees. Gangs and drugs everywhere, they never fixed anything.In my opinion, Charles his Daughter and his staff are all liars and crooks they dont respect thier tenents. I recommened never doing business with them, if you do you will move into hell. I had to get both lawyers and the government involved, to get anything done with the place I lived in. Stay away from the Eberly Company.

Our building was just recently taken over by the Eberly Company. I have lived in my apartment peacefully and happy for 12 years until now. They massacered the trees I planted and ripped out all the other plants. I pleaded with Charles Eberly about the trees but to him I'm "just a tenant", that's what he was overheard saying to the tree trimmers. They place has been looking like a waste land now for weeks. Very depressing to say the least. They also took away the water hose and hung pad locks on all the outside faucets so that the tenants cannot use them anymore. They have made live miserable for all the other tenants here in the building too and want us out, the sooner the better so that they can collect horrendeous high rents for the appartments. They really don't even deserve the one star, but you really cannot leave a review unless you give a star.

The only way they have one star is I have to rate them to post this message.

I have lived in an Eberly property for 7 months. When I arrived the phone line and pilot light on the stove did not work for two months amongst other things. I made numerous calls. I only got a response when I wrote a detailed letter. I had no heat all winter, my phone line stopped working again and my air-conditioning is currently not working I have again contacted them numerous time during working hours, after hours and with the emergency line with no return phone call. Lastly I had a death in the family and had to leave the state for a week. I called Eberly explaining what happened when I returned someone came to the door to serve a 3 day notice.. but not to fix anything. Very sad! STAY AWAY

We have the molds in our apartment and we told them we would not pay the rent until they remove the molds which of course they didnt. They gave us 3-Day notice to pay or move out. It is a very long and complicated situation for almost two years. We are thinking of filing a complaint against them on the Business Bureau website.

I have a winged-termite problem in the condo I rent that is managed by the Eberly Company. I called over two weeks ago to have an exterminator come out & the Eberly Company told me that they could only use one termite service & that it would be a month. For the time being I have placed tape over the hole in the wood where they were entering our apt, they are just eating away at the wood & still trying to swarm into the condo. I need others to help me complain to the BBB. I was told by Mr. Eberlys daughter that winged termites swarming in my living room didn't qualify as an emergency. I told her that if it was her living room I bet it would. They obviously have no regard for the Associations & homeowners who pay them to manage their buildings.

They hire unlicensed contractors, then abandon residents when the contractor damages the building, dishonest book keeping, they are expensive, unresponsive, arrogant, lazy. Charles Eberly doesn't respect condo laws, the Grey-stiring Act. Every homeowner in our building complains about them, but they protect management-so they stay.

We had an incident where a resident was robbed at gunpoint in our garage. Eberly Management responded by telling residents to "be more careful" and by posting signs that read "Keep Doors Closed." They ignored suggestions of improved lighting for the garage, which is sorely needed.

On several occassions, with maintenance issues, I have been ignored completely. The only way to get anything fixed is to call after hours, at which point they send an independent contractor to fix the problem. Bad people at a management company is one thing. Total neglect is another. I regret moving into this property
