He may be the most dominant corner of all-time.

NOT best ever...despite what "Prime Time" thinks.

Can't say much about Neon Deion and his performance over the past 5 years, but if I'm building an all-time defense, you better believe I'm putting Deion on it. He may have been a poor tackler, but throw a pass in his direction and it's lights out, he's taking it the other way. Hated him when he was with the Niners, but LOVED him as a Cowboy!

Got to love neon deion.

Hanger on. Time to hang 'em up for good, Primetime.

Should have stayed retired.

Currently, I don't know if I'd put him as my dime back yet alone a nickel back. He's not the game changing player he was back in the day. Hell, he's not even really a player anymore. Get over it. Even in his hayday I'd say there were better corners out there, like James Hasty. Top that off with the FACT that he's not a good leader and is horribly immature, and you realize what his effect on the team really is.

Deion is awesome !!!!!

As pointed out by TheFreak, Deion is an extremely pompous and immature individual. He made at least one attempt at suicide in his life. When he was playing for the 1995 champion Braves as well as the Falcons, self-absorbed baseball analyst Tim McCarver criticized him for not making a commitment to one sport. In the locker room after the Braves were victorious, Deion virulently poured water on McCarver. As a player though, he was everywhere and could do everything on the football field. It is rare and rather amazing that in this day in age there is still someone who can play two different sports at the professional level. His mere presence on a kickoff return team could intimidate the kicking team. He was also a dominating cornerback. He was an all-around great athlete.

There is one word that describes the creature who is the topic of discussion (and it's not primetime either!): BRAGGART!!!!! He would make great friends with Muhammed Ali. This will be a great surprise for many of my friends from the north who know about my southern whereabouts. I really don't care how allaround he was, the point is that many baseball/football players are better even if Deion Sanders thinks he is "primetime"!

other players are more consistant. he doesn't seem to follow through with calls that he isn't the main player.

average cornerback, average outfielder

I can't believe Deion has this high a rating. 6 or 7 years ago he would have deserved this rating. He is no longer the player he once was...

The best coverman in football ever. He is having a good year yet again!

Sure, Deion is still a lot of flash. And, he likes to talk a lot of trash. But, even at his age, Deion is still the most electrifying player in the NFL. With him at CB, opposing teams are effectively reduced to ten players because QBs are afraid to throw his way. He is also a threat each time he is back to return a punt. If he had gotten the proper reps at WR earlier in his career, he could have been a Hall of Famer at that position, as well.

Deion would be great if he were less cocky.

Sanders used to be great, but seems to be on the decline now.
MIAM18OM 10/26/1999
Deion Sanders is the all time NFL player because he can completely shut down a passing game by himself. Also, he is one of the most versatile athletes playing multiple football positions & even major league baseball, starring in both sports.
DACH28OM 10/26/1999
Deion Sanders is the best cover corner in the league. His recovery speed is remarkable. Who needs to tackle when your man can't even catch the ball?
ARIB179OM 10/26/1999
Deon is an incredible athlete, but his trip on 6-d seems like a phacade
