Four and 1/2. He was very good. Very good. Just better than a four star. I can think of a few players that played at the same time that I would have rather had on my team.

Definitely on the downside of his career...

I thought he was a hoss personally. However, his injury plagued career looks like it's out of life. It's a shame too, because I liked the power and intensity he had.

a good back just injuries have ruined his career

Good job, Eddie. Think you can do better than 2 yards a carry this year? Haha.
Iluvfootball 09/10/2004
Eddie just don't have it anymore. He can still get you a few yards here and there if you need a couple to get a first down or a TD, but as for those long runs? Forget it!

currently he isn't that great, 3 yards a carry isn't something to brag about. Back like 4 years ago he was an unstoppable force and was the face of the franchise along with Steve McNair. But I give him a 4 because of his leadership skills and the positive impact he lays on other players around him.

Eddie George sucks his moms ass every week-end.

George is durable with imposing size and strength. He's patient and waits for his blockers. Once he hits a seam, he's real hard to stop. He's like a boulder rolling downhill. Extra-aggressive between the tackles, George will run over you. I don't think he's as effective when bouncing outside, because he doesn't have much burst or explosiveness. He'll go through you better than making you miss. His hands aren't the best, either. He'll drop passes, fumble too much.

This guy is the MAN. A hard-nosed runner and a great reciever out of the backfield. An incredible physical specimen. He's even better in the pros than he was in college! He will get the Titans a Super Bowl title in the near future.

A big, rugged, hard-working back. What's not to like about this guy? The titans have built a nice core group of skilled players and its no wonder they were 1 yard shy of winning the superbowl last year. Let's see if they keep getting better - if they do there is little doubt that Eddie George will be one of the main reasons.

After winning the Heisman, how could this guy have fallen to the middle of the first round? He is an absolute stud. He is a big back (about 6-3 or so) and he's incredibly durable (hasn't missed a game in his four years in the league). He can run around or over the defense and catches the ball well out of the backfield. He also has the lowest body fat percentage in the NFL (or close to it) and is chiseled. He sometimes gets overlooked when the best backs are discussed (TD, Edgerrin James, Emmitt Smith, Marshall Faulk), but he is right there.
