Real talent. . .but a complete headcase who seems to have the gift of having problems everywhere he goes. (Didn't like playing in Minn. with Garnett is one baffling example.) Stephon can score and pass when he feels like it- but he strikes me as a classic selfish guard. Mentally- he reminds me of Rod Strickland - a guy with real talent but seems to have issues with just about every NBA team he touches. Too bad Stephon's basketball legacy isn't that important to him.

He was up towards the top of the league, but what has he done lately. He has only been a two time All-Star.

Cause i think Stephon Marbury Proved his self already & he is my favorite player of all times. I think Marbury is better than anybody else too.

Excellent handles and a good jump shot. One of the best play makers. He is fun to watch. One of the top guards in the NBA.

individually as a player, he's one of the best point guard currently, but yet he cannot be the leader of a team. though he's in top 5 in assist in 2004, he seems can't make other player better. he's a type of guy who look for a big contract first, then win championship later.

Pure scorer. Needs to mature quickly and be a little more giving at the point if he really wants to help the Suns improve.

Has to mature and learn how to play as a team.

Marbury has 4 other brothers that played college ball. He is from Coney Island, NY (in Brooklyn), where everything is basketball. So obviously he has a strong background. Marbury is undoubtedly one of the premiere point guards in the league at this time. He has a sweet shot. I thought it was a mistake for the Nets to trade Marbury for Kidd, but clearly the trade has worked out perfectly for both teams. The Suns needed a player like Marbury and the Nets needed a player like Kidd. They are both great, it's just that their playing style is different and one team can benefit from one but not the other.

sell out....who does he think he is...new jersey had a good team now when they got stephon its no longer a team...this is not the stephon show. you have great teammates give them the ball...stop trying to be like iverson, cause your game is weak

"Waah waah waah. I don't want to play for Minnesota because KG is the man not me." How are things in NJ Steph? Better? Since losing means nothing to you, and money everything, I hope so. Have fun watching the Wolves go to the conference semis this year while sitting on your couch in Brooklyn. One man a team does not make.

One of the best young point guards in the NBA. Needs to improve his shot selection. A major key to the Nets' playoff hopes.
