Born in 1966, Tim Hardaway was selected out of Texas-El Paso by the Golden State Warriors as the 14th overall pick in the 1989 NBA Draft. After five seasons with the Warriors, the 6-0 point guard was traded to the Miami Heat during the 1995-96 season. Hardaway has been to multiple All-Star Games and reached 5,000 points and 2,500 assists faster than any player in NBA history with the exception of Oscar Robertson.
