I've never cared too much for him. He really can't hurt your team, but what can he do to make your team great? I think that makes him an okay player.

Jalen Rose is what I consider the G.O.A.T both on and off court (Greatest of all time). Jalen is another fine example of NBAs inspiring players.Check out his website www.jalenrose.com

Captain Crunch! :D Bad defense at times, but he's really there when we need him.

I'm amazed that, even on this board, people are still convinced that Rose is a quality player, even though he stopped even giving that illusion years ago. He used to be able to score some, which made him of at least decent value, but now he has slipped into the depths of utter mediocrity: possibly the worst shot selction in the league, moribund passing and ballhandling, pedestrian rebounding, a poor attitude... and that's just his offense! Defensively, Rose is the most apathetic and appallingly lazy defender in basketball, frequently not even deigning to run back on defense, leaving his poor teammates to fend for themselves. Even when he was scoring, it didn't make up for his sad defense, so now... well, let's just say Toronto would be better off if he didn't play at all.

Overpaid but still a decent player. He can still put up decent numbers.

Good Player, but should have stayed a Pacer. Look where the Bulls and the Raptors are now!

I can't believe TO got stuck with this guy. His turnovers are enough to guarantee a loss for Toronto many nights

A selfish and arrogant player even though he has a good game. Winning and certainly potential championship teams unload this guy because of his negative locker-room presence.

I think he is a very good player in the NBA and I think he should have been in the All Star game this year

I must say- I like Jalen, but... In my opinion he is little passiv and sometimes less energy to be a leader of the Pacers. But all we know that he's playing with Reggie, who's very strong, charismatic player and until retire he will be the leader- later Jalen will be very, very good player( I wish !).

I LOVE JALEN ROSE SOOOOO MUCH. I have love this man since I seen him play back in 93. I love this man so much I named my daughter jalen in 93. She is an avid basketball player at 8yrs old. Jalen doesn't seem to get the props he deserves. He's quick, talented, and shows great leadership qualities. He works great under pressure. He is a wonderful person. I love ya Jalen, if you ever get a chance to read this. I hope one day that Jalen & I will get to meet you. Love, your biggest fan ladydimples

I THINK JALEN ROSE IS THE BEST AND I MEAN NUMBER 1 PLAYER THAT HAS EVER SET FOOT ON THE NBA COURT BEFORE. HE IS BEAUTIFUL IN EVERY WAY, HE'S CALM BUT AT THE SAME TIME AGGRESSIVE IN HIS OWN WAY. HE RULES THE COURT JUST BY BEING THEIR. IN MY OPINION HE IS THE BEST. I LOVE HIM. LADY Q.

Jalen is my boy. He has always been able to score he just never applied himself until last year and it showed reciving the Most Improved Player award and playing great basketball in the NBA Finals last year. Plus he has a good thing going for him in Indiana. Keep up the good work Jalen.

I FEEL THAT JALEN ROSE IS A GOOD PLAYER BUT SOMETIMES HE GETS SLACK . I DON'T KNOW IF IT IS BECAUSE OF HIS WRIST INJURY, BUT THIS SEASON HE IS NOT GOOD AS HE WAS LAST YEAR. THAT'S WHY MY RATING FOR HIM WENT DOWN. LAST YEAR HE REALLY REPRESENTED WELL, AND THAT'S WHY I HAVE NOTHING BUT RESPECT FOR HIM. PROMISING TO WIN A RING I'M NOT GOING TO SAY THAT BECAUSE THERE ARE FOUR OTHER PEOPLE WHO PLAYS WITH HIM ON THE COURT, AND IF THEY DON'T DO THEIR JOB, THEY WON'T BE GETTING NO KING OF RING UNLESS THEY BUY IT THEMSELVES. EVERYONE HAS TO CONTRIBUTE IN ORDER FOR THEM TO WIN A RING. THE ONLY THING I CAN SAY IS I HOPE JALEN KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, AND I HOPE THE WRIST INJURY DID NOT AFFECT HIS GAME.

Do people really think Jalen is strictly an outside shooter? He can and does take the ball to the rack with the best of them. Who knows? He might even be as popular as Miller if he would just learn to mouth off to the crowd, hassle refs, talk more game than he actually has etc., etc... Reggie should really take him under his wing as a mentor figure.

Jalen has become one of the most dangerous offensive threats in the NBA. He can shoot the ball from the outside and can take his man off the dribble. As a lefty, he sometimes looks a little awkward, but he can generally get his shot off. Plus, his days as a point guard have served him well. He has good court vision and can handle the ball. Yet, there is something about Jalen that rubs me the wrong way. Often, it seems like he is more about Jalen than the team. After a loss during the Finals, he was quoted questioning offensive strategy. Jalen, how about keeping your mouth shut and playing the game.

Will he end up the best pro player to come out of the Fav 5? He has really kept the Pacers in the final series with the Lakers. Forget Reggie, Smits,Jacksom and all - they never were able to get beyond the Conference finals until Jalon started to be a factor.

I was going to school at the University of Michigan when the Fab 5 made their debut, so I've been watching Jalen play since he was a college freshman. His talent was never in question, but people used to claim Jalen wasn't mentally capable of taking his game to the next level. Jalen's performance with the Nuggets and his first few years with the Pacers did nothing to silence his critics. But he seems to be coming into his own under Larry Bird. Jalen can take it to the basket, he can hit the outside shot, he plays solid defense, and his size creates match-up problems for most teams. I wouldn't put him in the "superstar" category yet, and I still have doubts he's mentally tough enough to reach that top level, but Jalen has definitely proven himself this year. Playing in the finals is a great experience for him, and I hope to see Jalen continue to improve his game.

Very talented, but is his head really in the game? He is so dispassionate during games, that it's hard to tell if he's really there sometimes. I don't think that Jalen Rose puts up nearly the numbers that he did this year, if he were with another team. Think about it - the Pacers whole game is penetrate, dish, swing the ball, and make open shots. Jalen can do this, and do it well because he can shoot over guards who are running at him after being forced to rotate by the Pacers ball movement. If he wants to be an elite player, he needs to bring the ball to the basket hard every once in a while.

Very good ball player, un-selfish and a quiet team leader...Has learned a great deal about the game from Larry Bird and leaves his ego in the locker-room. His play, like Bird's make his teammates look better!
