 | ellajedlicka21 (6) 11/15/2001 | Van Gundy is probably the best coach in the league. He knows so well how to handle his team when they are playing terribly and when they are playing in an excellent manner. He was an understudy of Pitino and Riley. Jeff has certainly learned from both and elaborated and combined both of their philosophies. He really is doing a great job with the resources he has in New York.

 | Munson (8) 05/23/2000 | Van Gundy has proven that he is one the better coaches in the league. He does a great job blending the Knick talent and isn't afraid to speak his mind and defend his team. He is the quintessential coach. There isn't much flash, all he cares about is coaching and winning. Unfortunately, he will be remembered by many for being the gnat on Mourning's leg.

 | PERV151OM (0) 10/26/1999 | Ever since he held onto Alonzo's leg in the Playoffs I got nothing but respect for the man. He's crazy even though he looks like he needs a quart of fermaldhyde b-c he looks Dead.
