Bought this large magnifying glass for Mom and she likes it because it covers a fairly large surface and the magnification is 5X.

I received item in good time. Hower, this is NOT a five (5) power Glass. It is more like a two (2) power Glass. I have four other Magnifying Glasses and none are over three (3) power but all are more powerful than this supposed five (5) power Glass. I will not buy another product from this manufacturer. I am hoping for a refund so I can buy a good Glass.

Solid contruction but I cannot tell the difference between it's supposedly 5X magnification and the 3X magnifying glass I have.

My Mother loves to read, but at 91 her eyes are starting to fail. I buoght this as part of her Mother's Day gift. She said that she could now read a whole page of a paperback with out having to move the magnifer and that it was so nice and clear to see through. The handle is nice and long so it makes it easy to hold. She is very happy with it.
