The first man to regain the heavyweight belt. His major flaw is that he should have never lost it to Johansson. We love you China Chin. The NICEST Heavyweight of ALL - TIME and one of the fastest. Perfect for Liston, like Frazier and Foreman, Ali always had big a big build up before he knocked out The Big Bully Ali's specialty.

Generally underrated, Patterson possibly had the fastest hands of any heavyweight ever.;his left hook to Ingemar Johansson's temple which regained him the title may have been the single best punch ever landed.

hes nuthing spectacular. sure hes fast, and he wus the first person to win the heavyweight title twice, but other than that, patterson wus just a stepping stone for ali and liston. he wus a helluva nice guy, but he shouldnt have been a boxer. he dissed ali's name, and got his ass beat bad. patterson wus just a victim of the times.

A great lightheavyweight who was a good heavyweight. Fast hands and quickness made his a tough fighter. A true credit to boxing. A class act at all times.

Average heavyweight that lost to all to all of the greats. Give him credit for fighting beasts such as Liston, Ali, and Frazier. Arguably had the quickest hands of any heavyweight of all-time(behind Ali and Louis in my opinion). Biggest weakness was his chin. Knocked down 20 times-the most a heavyweight has been down. BUT, he could've been one of the GREATEST lt. heavyweights of all-time. He was simply a savage at 175. He had it all: great power, blazing speed, excellent boxing ability. But, he was a classic overachiever and wanted the heavyweight crown but never succeeded.

Could have been one of the best lightheavy's of all time. Average heavyweight in an era of average heavyweights. Rocky M, Ali, Norton, Foreman, Frasier would have creamed him and L. Lewis would have killed him.

He was certainly good, but there was nothing going on with his game that pushed him over the top.
