 | Randyman (114) 06/05/2005 | UPDATE: Was he overated or did he just get old? Personally I think it was a little of both, and Ricky Hatton proved to be too much for him. He was a good fighting champ and deserves our respect. I hope he retires. ORIGINAL COMMENT: A good solid fighter. I'll rate him either higher or lower, if and when he fights Gotti and Mayweather. I think he is slightly overated. A win against these two will change everything.

 | louiethe20th (80) 06/05/2005 | Pound for pound this guy may be the best right now.He is a killer in the ring with plenty of power and the ability to finish once he has someone hurt.Update:If he knocks out Hattan(big task) he will solidify what I have said here.***Where is Ricky Hattan on this list?***After the Hattan fight I have to question KT's Heart a bit.I do, on the otherhand, respect his humbleness and character.

 | gman777 (0) 02/22/2005 | he's good and has a power right, a good left but i feel a bit over-rated.....if the zab that showed up for the second spinks fight fought kt.....kt would have lost (much like the spanking he got in rd 1 aginst zab) i couldn't stand zabs antics and mouth, but to be fair, he is a very talented guy, and from what i hear, he has matured and buckled down a alot (which could be bad news for other fighters).....kt has beaten some names that were just that names (past there day looking for some $).....and yes has beaten some good fighters, however, phillips kind of exposed his chin a bit, i have always rated his chin as avg.....he's been hurt a few times by lesser opponents, (even mitchell, who isn't that good)....he's been down as often if not more than judah.....everyone talks about the judah fight, people forget that oktay (before judah showdown) may have beaten him, i thought it was close, and oktay stinks....an old leija gave him some trouble early, until he hurt his eardrum.....i would have to say before i put him in the great catagory.....he needs to fight a serious judah again or gatti. he is also a slow starter and his defence ranges from avg to above avg.....on a positive side, i must say he has a heavy right, excellant stamina, and very classy, so i wouldn't say he stinks, i rate him as being good, not great

 | TheEvilSaintEvan (0) 01/07/2005 | he has great power and suprising technique. he backs it all up with solid skills and a good list of victims. he needs to start cementing his legacy more securely before age catches up with him.

 | Bryght (0) 07/18/2003 | When Tszyu dominated and knocked out that worthless thug Zab Judah, I screamed in celebration! Judah is a self-proclaimed Jew, but acts like Mike Tyson, who happens to be a hellbound Muslim. I have no respect for "Zab"...anyone who does needs a head check.

 | Latunskij (0) 03/09/2003 | The only fighter at 140 or 147 that might have a shot against this tank-like, super-experienced powerpunching Russian is Vivian Harris. Watch out for that man.

 | Crunchy (0) 02/27/2003 | briannissan1..looks like you were dead wrong. Kostya Tszyu has taken on all comers and has proven that he his the best 140lb fighter of all time. Only 1 loss in his career and it was great to see him destroy that arrogant, ignorant and stupid Zab Judah.

 | trulatin (1) 01/26/2002 | Definitely comes to fight. Has compiled a nice resume of victories over name opposition, i.e., Judah, Mitchell, JC Chavez, M.A. Gonzalez, Jake Rodriguez, Roger Mayweather, Ruelas, Bramble, etc, etc. Probably wise for him to stay at 140lbs to solidify his place in the boxing annals. Would love to see him against Arturo Gatti in what would surely be a classic fight. Makes sense for him to seek a quick return match against Judah to build on the momentum and prove the first fight wasn't a fluke.
