01/25/2006 | Being on the verge of the weekend, knowing Saturday and Sunday are ahead, makes Friday the most magical and anticipated day of the week. Standing there on a Friday, you have the feeling that anything can happen, anything is possible, its so exhillerating--love Fridays.

02/23/2005 | Friday is my new favorite day of the week. For about two months now, I have been on a 4/40 week, meaning I work ten hours four days a week, plus overtime should I want it. So now every week I have a three day weekend. I love getting up on Friday morning and taking my wife out to breakfast and having some alone time with her.

02/08/2005 | Getting out of work on Friday is the best feeling. Knowing that I can go gome, hang out with my wife, stay up late and sleep in the next morning is awesome. Saturdays and Sundays are good too but they are usually very busy so I would pick Friday as my favorite day of the week.

12/15/2004 | I love Fridays. In school when the teachers say that the assignement is due next time, you don't necessarily have to do it that day because of the weekend! It's the end of the school and work week, and generally speaking, Friday nights is the night to go around and have a good time. That's the time of the week when there are little worries.

12/15/2004 | i dont like friday. why? you ask. well, see Friday should be a great day, the end of the miserable work week for most, the beginning of two days rest for me. but see, idiots at work always want to rush that last bit of business before the weekend, so they are super little busy bees all day. lunch joints are always packed b/c joe and joanne worker all decide that friday is the day for pizza. yippie!!!! bars are the worst. a cross-section of 21-24 year olds that are allowed out for the weekend, and joe and joanne worker tying one on w/their co-workers and congratulating themselves on a neat-o work week. what crap! the only good thing about is, is getting some business man all angry by making fun of smooth jazz or celine dion or something, and then beating them up outside the bar. also feeling up drunk 21 year old chicks aint so bad either.

12/15/2004 | I would rate this a five, but from my own experience, my workplace always seem to want to schedule me on this day-- so I never get to spend tiem with my girlfriend. Other than that, Friday is a good excuse for forgetting about the Trig test you just failed.

09/28/2004 | Friday nights are incredible and perfect. Even if you have work/school, you're still on Cloud Nine all day. Especially notable for me is that critical moment when the bell rings, releasing students from their last period of school on a Friday. It happens every week, but it's always a rush!

09/12/2004 | Dateline: Friday, the weekend is near, students, employees (and employers), and people in general are beginning to think about his/her plans for the weekly break that consists of Saturday and Sunday. There's more to Friday than just thinking about the weekend, you can just kick it off for there. A couple of suggestions: Go view the latest in pictures (pardon me, movies) with friends and/or family. If this doesn't interest you for some reason (saving cash or no movie of interest), travel around town to view sights you hardly ever see. Addition to my suggestion list for your Friday, stay up for once. You'll feel more alive!

10/16/2003 | Specifically, Friday sometime after 6pm (when I finally get home after work) is the BEST time for me--I sit the whole day at work, thinking about all the stuff I want to do (which I never really end up doing, but it's that hope that I enjoy), then I get home, then get ready to go out and hang out with a handful of my friends at our favorite restaurant, I stay up as late as I want because I know I can finally SLEEP IN. And the best part about Friday after 6pm? It's the longest time from when I have to work next!

01/28/2003 | I work at Wal-Mart Friday to Sunday and I dread Friday. It's my Monday. Also, it is hard for me to go out on Friday nights because restaurants are packed with all sorts of people. But that's life and you have to live with it.

11/19/2002 | Who doesn't love Fridays? But in a way they are bad because you know your weekend will be over before you've started enjoying it properly then you are back at work for another week.
I tend to go out during the week anyway and the latest I can get up for work is 8am, so the weekend is just sleep in longer than normal time and maybe do something that I'd been meaning to do for ages - but my weekends now feel more dramatically shorter than what they used to.

I love it when you come home form school and go out with your friends or go out to circuit city and test out the latest aiwa stereos and audio gear and test drive new pc's or go out and DeeJay or just hangout at home and watch some cool movies on a free preview( friday is the best day for most free previes) or order a dish-on-demand or DirectTicket! pay per view movie! I love fridays because it starts out to a really cool weekend! Also I am really productive and creative and that's when i mostly come up with my cool ideas for my website or when I come up with a really cool idea for a cd to burn!

09/09/2001 | Even as a small child I have always, for some reason, loved the word "Friday". It just has always seemed like the best day to me. The work week is almost done, plans for the weekend to look forward to. The best thing is to stay up late Friday night and sleep in the next day. You can do this on Saturday night too, but then you only have one day left of the weekend, whereas on Friday night you have two. I also like the old Catholic tradition of eating fish on Fridays even though I'm not Catholic. I like to grab a FiletOFish from McDonalds so I dont have to cook and to start the weekend off with a treat. Or else I make my favorite super easy salmon or tuna casserole: make 2 pkgs. of Lipton Sidekicks pasta -any flavors, then add, salt, pepper, 1 can of salmon or tuna, and canned peas.

08/31/2001 | Friday is definitely one of the best days of the week. Everyone is more relaxed, getting ready for the weekend. Even Friday mornings seem more laid back. Because of this, Fridays tend to be productive days for me. Maybe because I am not stressed out and things seem to get done at an even pace. Of course, my husband works on Saturdays, so it isn't like we are going out to Happy Hour Friday night..but it still has that relaxing feel to it. The day that you (as a kid) can stay up past your bedtime..as an adult, you can clear your mind of the work week and relax..No matter what you do or how you spend it, there is nothing better than Friday night, the end of the week and the anticipation of what the weekend may bring. Fridays also mean "Fish Fry" where I live..aaah, that lovely smell of frying fish, french fries and cole slaw wafting through town from the area restaurants.

You have two whole days to you can call your own to anticipate and have the option of staying up as long as you care to without having to worry about being too worn out the next day. On top of that, Friday tends to be payday for many of us and that's something else to look forward to!

It's the best day of the week, hands down, although I suspect that it has more to do with anticipating the weekend than anything else. People always seem more relaxed to me on Friday, and it's certainly a more laid-back day in the workplace. I love the feeling I get on Friday night after work when I'm looking ahead to two days of unscheduled time and thinking about what I'll do. The possibilities seem endless on Friday. I can think of only one thing I don't like about Friday- it's the day fish specials crowd out the other choices on restaurant menus. If that's the worst thing I can come up with, Friday must be a pretty good day!
