This is just like 1992 baby, not ranked and started knocking ranked teams off left and right! Then went on to be undefeated! We are coming back baby!

i think Alabama's football team has improved a lot since last year and they deserve better than they get credit for.

93,000 inbred rednecks (many of whom were drunk) attending a free non-game and screaming "rrrrrrrrowwwwwwwww tah. ROW!"

Being curiously proud of its dubious big screen presence in the rednecksploitation genre - i.e. mentally retarded students a la 'Forrest Gump' or a skanky girl dumping an intelligent and worthy young man at the altar because she can't resist the down home charms of a grease covered tobacco spittin' Bammer Cletus in 'Sweet Home Alabama'.

Worship of an old dead backwoods cornball drunk from Moro Bottom, Arkansas who flunked out of Podunk High School and was still admitted to Bammer.

"Ramma Jamma Belly Hamma!"
"Alabama Alabama!"
"Ramma Jamma Hamma Jamma!"
"rrrrrowwwww tah. ROW!"

This is the University of Alabama. This is the "Crimpsun Tah".

lsu owned bama the past 3 in a row to make up for the shutout in 02. i get the feeling it's going to be 4 whenever november comes around. plus it's funny how high pitched and girly the voices of bama fans get when they squeak "roll tide" walking past the lsu fans outside of tiger stadium.

Alabama has lots of national championships - 7 Nationally recognized since 1960 is second only to Notre Dame. Alabama also has a lot of wins and a great winning percentage(top 5 or so all time). Alabama has THE most bowl wins and appearances of any Div I school. Alabama has THE most 10-win seasons of any school. Alabama has THE most SEC championships (21 is more than Auburn and Tennessee combined).

Even though i'm a Georgia fan, i have to agree. When it comes to defense, Bama rules. Being Bama is the Granddaddy of the SEC, it is expected. Good luck next year, it's nice to see Bama with a great coach once again!

Alabama had a great season. They were 9-0 before LSU handed them their first loss in the season in an SEC thriller. Then Auburn sacked the Tide 28-18 in a bad day for the Alabama offense especially the O-line and Croyle getting sacked 11 times. Speaking of the offense, it was plagued by losing their best target, Tyrone Pothro (sp?). They will roll over Texas Tech in the AT&T Cotton Bowl.

I dunno where you idiot michigan fans are getting your facts but we have not played you twice in the past five years and our record is 1-2 against you...nice try though. Anyways bama has been through some tough times, but what program hasn't? We will overcome this and come out on top just like we always do. :)

Alabama is my favorite college football program (actually, it's one of my two favorites, but a friend got me into them so now I'm hooked). It has to be considered as one of the best college football programs ever, as its 10+ national championships (Alabama itself may claim more than 10) and well over 700 career victories say (Bear Bryant laid claim to nearly half of them himself).

In the past they did have some really good teams. But I remember a stretch in the 70's where there was one team that they could not touch, Notre Dame. Notre Dame seem to win every year even when they weren't that good. But Alabama did have some good seasons. Now, being relistic, it was not until the late 70's or early 80's that the SEC became known as a power conference. I mean there were one or two other good teams and everybody else was kinda sucky. So an argument can be made, who did they play? Now Alabama fans lets get real. I liked the Bear too. But he most definatly did give a whole new meaning to the phrase, "by hook or by crook." But he did amass a good win record. Now in the last five years Alabama has a 37-24 record for a .607 win percent. Not great. Not a 5 star performance. really just kind of Ok'esh at best. Now you may say hey, there are only 3 teams in the SEC with better records. So that would put them in the top 1/3 of the conference. Out of a 12 team conf I would say they have done better than eight of them. On an all time best they would be a solid 4. But on this current list 3 is it and that really pushing it......I usally don't meantion stuff like this but GOBLUE4EVR...You need to grow up. Michigan is a good team for sure. But they can not hold a candle to Alabama on a all time win calendar.....

Other programs compare themselves to the Crimson Tide just as women compare themselves to men. While on the job, you'll never hear a man say: "Well, I can do it JUST as good as a woman." And you'll never hear the Tide say: "Maybe one day we'll be steeped in tradition like Auburn." 'Nuff said. Roll Tide!!!

have you people even looked at the news!!! they can't keep a coach, they can't keep players ( four are trying to transfer but mal won't let them )...it's just in a long tradition of cheating that bear instilled ( he was a great coach but never kid yourself on how he cheated!! )

PBeavr you suck!!! there shouldn't even be a team at bama after all the rules they have broken in recent years. bama goes through coaches like your mom goes through men!!! michigan holds 3-1 head to head lead on them. and i don't care about how many wins they have total over the years, they are no where the team or program michigan is now, past or future. so in leaving kiss my ass, and you suck!!!!

Would agree with pbeavr on a rating for all time...but the once mighty program has turned into a joke. It should start a coach of the month club. Real coaches don't leave Alabama for texas farm college they do it the other way around... Mike shula, please... and don't get us started on that price guy.

They have really put it together this year. I've liked them ever since they beat Kansas and ruined their undefeated season. Their defense has stepped up and is starting to make big plays. The offense is struggling to get off and they should be pretty good.

They had a lot of big wins this year. Has a coach ever risen from such depths in such a short time as DuBose did this year?
