Plus devaney's two peat in the 70's. top 5 in all time wins, record for sellouts, and academic all-americans. anyone who denies the big reds greatness is a bitter fan of someone who falls short.

Wow, that West Coast offense idea is a disaster so far. This is an option run kinda program. They have denied their roots and are suffering from the attempt to evolve.

This pains me to say but Nebraska sucks. They have been in a steady decline and bringing in a head coach who couldn't even cut the mustard with one of the sorriest teams in the NFL. The Oakland, Los Angeles, Oakland, highest bidding city inserted here Raiders. He was an embarassment to the Raiders and is now the laughing stock of the once proud Big 12

Undefeated 3 out of 4 years ring a bell? Beating the #2 team in the nation by a score of 62-24 ring a bell? Does their record during the '70s, '80s, and '90s ring a bell?

They were the premier program of the 90's. It only took Frank Solich 5 years to ruin one of the best football programs in college football history. I think Bill Callohaun will return Nebraska to the ranks of college football's elite.

Don't worry, they'll sneak into the top 25 before the season's over.

look out for the west coast offence. In ten years, I think we will double our national championship and have the greatest team to ever play the game.

This has been the premire college football program since 1960. Look it up.

Our defense has regained national prominence and prestige. We finally are without the disservices of Jammal Lord and can finally re-open our playbook. Watch out for the Huskers in 2005 and 2006.

I hate one dimensional systems ... I hate schools and coaches and administrators who dont care about the character of the players they bring in...they seem to win national titles with players who spent half their lives in correctional facilities...CU has been dominating the big 12 in this century...NU is for the 20th century....CU is Gonna dominate this century

I guess the whoopin' they got from Colorado wasn't enough, they wanted more embarrassment. Nebraska fans should call for Solich's firing... y'all need Coach Osborne back to do anything. One more parting shot... Ken Dorsey showed the country why Eric Crouch didn't deserve the heisman, and Miami showed America why NU had no right to be on the same field with them. Ha ha ha ha ha ha....

They recruit criminals. Can't keep their football team out of trouble. They let players keep playing after getting in trouble with the law and academic problems. They still send lots of players to the league.

This big red machine can't be beat. A lot of strong, big players, all good. They are gonna win the national title.

Nebraska is the next best team to Florida St. For years they have dominated their conference, except for the past season they have fallen off a little, but now they are starting to come back with their explosive offense. When Tommy Frazier was at Nebraska he really put them on the map as far as that option offense goes.

Best team in college. Great use of options and could fake out any team with pass routes.

Eric Crouch is the best running QB in the nation by far. This team is going places with this type of defense. They had perhaps the most exciting game of the season with Notre Dame with a multiple OT win.

I hate Nebraska, they are too damn good. I hate those damn Cornhuskers. I just want them to lose. They just have the biggest white boys on the team- 6'4", 320 lbs.- that is NFL material. They will lose someday.
