Stanford is one of the top academic universities in the country. Because of the high academic standards the player pool they draw from is small and not as athletic as other school's recruits. Other schools can get better talent because of the lower academic standards.

Stanford, as we know, has always been a great school and had a great sports program such as swimming, baseball, basketball, and NOW football. I am so inspired by their great accomplishments from last year's season. I know that they are just going to get better. I mean, John Elway graduated from Stanford... they've always had great quarterbacks, running backs and defensive ends. I predict that they will be in the top 5 next season and be in the Rose Bowl!

All I can say is disappointing, disappointing. What happened to the Cardinals this year?! Somebody better tell Willingham to get "Da Farm" back in order. Although the miracle win against USC was a bright spot in the Cardinals losing record this year, the Cardinals have disappointed fans this year, adding support to the PAC-10 being a powder puff league. I give them a 1 for not living up to expectations.

Good offense. They need help on the other side of the ball if they have a lot of yards and points to other teams that they have played.

Stanford could have been a major player in the PAC-10 conference. Due to Randy Fasoni's injury and the streaky play of the defense, it looks hard for the team to come back. Chris Lewis is a major prospect and could be a good QB. The team will be hard pressed to acheive the status of last year's Rose Bowl team with the loss of Watters and others.

Just like other programs in Stanford, they are a bunch of overachievers, who have way too many advantages over others (but they still suck!).
