After his final game, he held the all time total yardage record and the all time passing record in the history of college football He was going to win the Heisman with or without the pass. He was a landslide winner for the Heisman garnering the 5th highest total in Heisman history.

Doug Flutie is one of College Footballs greatest QB.
He lit up every team he played against.

 | Habanerobuck (0) 06/03/2004 | Doug Flutie, as a COLLEGE football player, was very close to being great. He threw the ball all around the field against any and all defenses, including all game long against Miami leading up to the bomb.

 | macattak (0) 04/11/2003 | known for his hail mary pass, he was an excellent player who was the classic overacheiver. He is the type of person you would want your son to grow up to be.
