Played well in college and in the NFL too until the Madden curse got ahold of him...

he did not deserve the heisman in 1995...it should have gone to the best player ever...Tommie Frazier

Frazier was a product of that system. Thats why he went to Canada to play football and Eddie stayed in AMerica and played real football.

Blew the Super Bowl by not looking back for the next to final pass.

Eddie fumbled a lot early in his career. He was helped a bit by the potent threat of Terry Glenn his Heisman year. In person, he appears to be 300+ pounds of bone, skin, and muscle, at least he did in 1995.

wack

I give a 1 star because George ranked #7 is inexcusable. George never won a conference rushing title. George has a poor career YPC in the NFL. OVERRATED!!! Frazier was clearly the best player in the 90's and of course 1995.

Best back of the 1990s. Yes, my Husker bretheren, he's better than Ahman Green was. Not by much, but he was. Oh well, George got the Heisman for his collegiate efforts and Green has a couple of hands full of various championship rings, so it all evens out in the end.

The greatest running back of all-time.

Eddie George did nothing against Michigan.
