she can be very funny. I have watched some of her stand up comedy and she comes up with some funnny things to say. she is good at adlibbing when i see her talk show. her book is humerous. she comes up with some good subjects in her comedy. I laugh at a lot of the things she says.

I like her books a lot. However, I do prefer her stand up. Ellen has this gift delivering jokes in a way you never saw before and it is hard to understand that in a book.

We're talking about her ability to write humor here. That's simple. She doesn't have any such ability. Whatever skills she has at stand-up or as an actor don't translate to the printed page.

Not only is Ellen a great actress, but she is a wonderful author as well. Her talent shows no bounds.

I don't watch talk shows...PERIOD. Ellen cracks me up! I love that she is able to pick herslf up and charge forward with fresh enthusiasm every day. She ROCKS!

Ellen DeGeneres actually writes some pretty funny books. A lot of them dealing with her life, and why she is different then other people, but her stories can be heartwarming, and they are worth a look.
