01/26/2006 | He's not a great actor, however he is an endearing and charmimg one. Its really interesting to watch his progress over the ten seasons of Friends. He started off very unsure and a little awkward, but as the show went on, he became comfortable and really in tune with the comedy. Even though his off-television efforts have been dismal, he'll always have a place in the TV hall of fame for Joey.

02/26/2005 | I don't understand why Matt LeBlancs character was so popular on the show. Joey was too dimensional to be true. And Matt's acting skills are just not good enough in my eyes to fill that gap. I've seen him in movies before and it just confirmed my opinion. He is an below average actor who can just portray certain kinds of characters.

And to the reviewer that said he has no brains, I would say that isn't true either as the man was making a million dollars per episode on Friends and I wouldn't even call that hard labor...he must be doing something right...

07/23/2003 | I love Matt LeBlanc- he is so hot and he seems like such a sweetie too. he's one of my favorite actors. i think Joey is the most lovable character on Friends but the real Matt seems like a genuinely sweet, kind person, and actually pretty intellegent too. he is the type of guy i think would make the perfect boyfriend- becuase he's sweet, kind, and funny, and real and totally adorable.

04/09/2003 | I like Matt on Friends but that's about it really. Matt plays Joey, who's a dumb but funny guy, and I think that he's the best at playing these types of characters. When he tries to branch out into other roles, he's just plain awful. It's a case of sticking to what you know best, and Friends is it for him. He should definately consider that spin off, because he won't make it in the movie business. Name one good movie he was in, I certainly can't. The guy has no diversity and that's what you need to succeed.

12/12/2000 | I think that you should give this guy another chance and take a better look at Lost in Space not for the fact that the movie did not fair so well but his role in it. I think that Matt did a good job of his character and he certainly put some physical effort into it. I think that his role on Friends is very diverse, sometimes he's dumb as two thick planks and at odd moments he seems to be very much on the ball and can outwitt his companions. He's a friend I would love to hang out with cause with him things would be cool and you would know that he would be honest and forthright. As an actor I think that he has definate potential it's just that the roles that may suit him are not coming his way and that may have a great deal to do with his part in Friends. I see him playing a detective with a smart-ass attitude. He could certainly do with getting a shot at a serious role. Nice profile by the way.

11/06/2000 | Definitely my favorite male character on "Friends," and probably my favorite of all the people on the show. Most of the other characters (Ross in particular) seem to be getting more stale and annoying as the show drags on, but Joey may actually be getting more entertaining. Still, Matt LeBlanc hasn't shown us that he can create more than one good character. His movie rolls have been terrible - "Lost in Space," for example, was a joke. And didn't he do some idiotic baseball movie where he co-starred with a monkey?
