08/19/2008 | Godsmack is vanilla hard rock, but very professional. They are consistent in the product they deliver to listeners. The talent level is high enough that they solo a little and I really like the vocals of Sully Erna. They have had a few very good songs.

08/13/2008 | There are one of the best groups out there in this (and any other) genre. He has the best voice out there and they back it up with one of the best guitars around. There music is different from song to song and they are one of my favorites.

08/04/2007 | They're a bit hit and miss. They have produced some real duds (see 'Voodoo Too'), but that is more than made up for by the brilliant 'Awake'. I admit, I'm not particularly knowledgeable in the ways of the 'Smack, but I think they're worthy of a four at least...

10/31/2004 | Generic Metal band that is not bad by any means. The only problem is they're nothing special. They're like the Applebee's of Metal. I give them a four only because they are From Haverhill, Massachussetts, which is the town next to me.

10/14/2004 | I have followed this revolutionary hard rock band(with a groove) since their 1997 self titled release and am pleased to say that getting better every time is an understatement, anyone can give complaints to any band for their own personle reasons but i challenge anyone to bring complaints about this band to me because they won't win-with their high energy filled show's and dueling drums live on stage they are sure to be fan favorites every time and it will only be a matter of time before they are the number one live rock performance! 05/15/2004 | Godsmack is one of the few good bands out their today. Most of them today are just bands crying over their lost girlfriend, which gets really old. I have seen Godsmack twice now. Once headlining with guest Deftones, and then I saw them open for METALLICA. Both shows kicked ass. Of course couldnt compare to the almighty METALLICA,THE GREATEST BAND EVER!But still they put on a kick ass show.Keep Rockin GODSMACK!

03/07/2004 | An above-average bad in todays age of Pop and Rap. Great vocals, and guitar solos are a treat, while not especially great, a rarity in todays rock music. Only bad thing I can mention is the wait between each album, but nothings perfect, eh?

04/18/2003 | GRRRRR!! If you are in the dark/evil/mysterious/angry mood, Godsmack is the band to listen to. They have edgy songs that make you pump your fist. I admit they are a bit one dimensional with their music, but they have a great sound and get the fans going with their live shows.

01/02/2003 | Dont take it personal Godsmack fans but this is Junk. These guys who may be good musicians (I cant tell because of all the effects and bad attitude) but they are a product of the Music Industry nowadays and what young 14 year old boys wat to hear now. Id like to see what they could do without all the fake distortion and other digital crap that makes this stuff sound like a monster movie soundtrack instead of Rock and Roll. Probably sound like an old Fogie but this is a bunch of screaming and B>S> for the angry boys with No daddys and prostitute mothers.

04/09/2001 | Godsmack is so awesome! I love them so much! But not as much as my mom, though...she is Godsmack's #1 fan! I got her their first CD for Christmas one year and last mother's day I got her "Awake". She is the number one Godsmackette out there, and that's no joke. Sully's voice is amazing. The guitar riffs are excellent as well. The guitar solos are nice, because you don't hear them that often nowadays in newer bands. I can't wait for their next CD...I'll be one of the first people in line to get it (behind my mom).

02/20/2001 | Godsmack is great! Sulley is an amazing writer and it's good music to relate too! When your angry, just blast "get away" and you just release your anger, atleast thats what I do! And it is fun to mosh too! I love Godsmack. They rocked at Ozzfest 2000!
