They should have gotten rid of June Jones a long time ago! If the Universtiy of Hawaii wants to pay out 800K/year, give it to someone who draws in the crowd, like Coach Dave Shoji.

Everyone looks good winning. You often learn more about a team and its coaches when they are losing. I am very proud of the way they have stuck together, taken responsibility for their own part in the scheme of things and not looked for excuses or blamed others. This is a positive mind set and a testament to good coaching. I like the way these kids have stuck together. I am proud of the way they conduct themselves. I enjoy watching them play. I would enjoy it more if Timmy could run the option.

June Jones has a hard time chewing gum and walking. He always acts like his on drugs. If he was paid $100K he might be worth it but not for what he is getting paid. Get rid of him!

He's over rated and a jerk who cant coach but can collect his $800,000 salary per yearplus perks. Cant recruit good players even on the local level. Yes he did improve the teams record his first year but any empty chair would been a better coach than Fred Von Oppen.

With a name like June he has to be an OK coach. I have gone to Hawaii with a team and I find it amazing that any coach could get any player to concentrate on football there. Aloha.

If this guy was that great of a coach, he'd be somewhere besides Hawaii.

June Jones is, no doubt, one of the better if not the best coach in college football! How many coaches come to a school that was winless(0-12) the year before and revive the program to a championship calaber team(9-4) just one year later in which they were WAC champions, and Oahu Bowl Champions. June Jones was in a horrible car accident earlier this year which almost cost him his life but he definitely had the lord watching over him because he is back on the field coaching Hawaii through fall practice! Some doctors said that most people that are in car accidents like Jones' don't live to tell how it happened! June Jones is not just a special coach but a special person! Hawaii will be a special team lead by Coach Jones this year! Watch out!
