I've never heard of Good Friday being referred to as "Spring Holiday" and it'd be confusing if we did call it that as what would we then call "Spring Bank Holiday" which falls on the last Monday of May? Madness.

Yes. It is a holiday that occurs in the spring. However, it does nothing to describe that holiday. This seems like something that would be put on a government or public calendar rather than Good Friday in order to not offend non-Christians. Its probably more offensive to rename the actual holiday to something else. Non-Christians should just enjoy the day off if they are lucky enough to get it, and not worry so much about semantics.

This sounds like a secular way of describing this holiday to justify the fact that public schools often have the day off on Good Friday.

Personally, I would have preferred an extra day off in the summer, since Good Friday in Boston typically fell on a day that included shoveling the snow and ice out of the driveway. I do not miss April Nor'easters.

All these religious ones sound strange, never heard em. Who makes these names up? Hmmm Couldn't Spring Holiday also be used for Easter? That sounds better then Zombie Jesus Day.

Frankly, since Easter is another of the holidays on the Christian calendar that is borrowed from more ancient pagan rituals, this makes as much sense as others. In the days when the Chrisitian church was struggling for recognition and trying to make headway against Norse, Germanic, Celtic and other existing religions in Europe, they adapted numerous existing celebrations and made them Christian. Christmas for one, Easter for another. The timing of Easter has more to do with ancient Spring festivals than with the events on Calvary two millenia ago.

Can't say I've ever heard this one. I'm also not sure I'd use the word holiday to describe Good Friday.
