Thought this may be a Regional thing, but I don't know. To me, Easter just sounds better, but whatever makes your boat float.

I seem to recall that Resurrection Sunday was actually the name that Minnesota football fans had given to the season premiere of Brett Favre in a Vikings jersey.

How about U2's: 'Sunday, Bloody Sunday' (I'm bad, I know).

I usually just say Easter, but since this is what Easter really means, I'll go along with it.

Its an accurate description of the holiday, but I like the sound of Easter just a bit better.

I only know one person that uses this term, and he's one of those "don't even look funny at that chocolate bunny, don't you know what Easter is?!?!?" types.

If you do a little quick research on the Old English origins of the word "Easter", it's not hard to conclude that "Resurrection Sunday" might be a better name for the holiday. Still, tradition makes me inclined to continue saying "Easter."
