I loved it. All the characters were great.

Although certaintly not up to the pinnacle of television drama--that would be the Star Trek legacy--Andromeda, based on original Gene Roddenberry outlines is a fair science fiction show that can be quite good at times. The style is somewhat different than Trek, which is somewhat disappointing--the focus on science is lost, the ships are definately much less pristine than those of the Federation, and the dialogue style is even different. But, even with those faults, the optimistic humanism of Gene Roddenberry can be found. The cast is good, especially the actress that plays Trance and the actor that plays Harper. The show has good action and good drama, but isn't afraid to be campy, like in one of my favorite episodes, Dance of the Mayflies. Good special effects show through in anamorphic widescreen as well.

Sometimes I have a hard time getting into it, but it has great characters and it is involving. Needs some twists to it. I hope harper finds his true love. He is so adorable!

Good show - missing something since Cobb (Tyr) left.

Sorry Kevin. This one just doesn't do it for me like Hercules. I watched every episode in season's one and two, but got tired of the story line. Now that Tyr is estranged, it's even more difficult to want to watch. I don't know what I could suggest. Maybe I just grew out of it. sorry.

I like Andromeda and especially Kevin Sorbo and the actor who does Tier. But the audio is annoying. Much of the dialog can't be heard in detail; some sort of background echo and loud music drowns it out.

I was looking for rock bottom and I think I found it.

Man oh man this show is so bad.

Sigh .. another cheap Canadian import that could be much better than it is. I keep tuning in -- perhaps out of respect for its late, lamented creator, perhaps because Lexa Doig is so cute I can't look away -- but the ill-designed characters and opaque, uninvolving storylines keep getting in the way. A time-waster that might have been brilliant in different hands.

Mrs. Rodenberry has done it yet again w/ Andromeda. I am having a delightful time seeing the development of everyone (especially Tyr). In the third year, it appears as though they are becoming more like family. Trance seems tohave droped her "bad world" mood; however, she is still apprehensive sometimes. I love this show very much...

I must admit theat when I heard that Kevin Sorbo was doing this show, it would be like Hercules in space. I really didn't get in to it at first, it wasn't until they re-ran the first shows a few weeks ago that I really started watching...and liking. It's not Star Trek, despite coming from the mind of the same man, and it's not Hercules, with Capt. Hunt being more of a thinker than an agressor. I'm not sure if this show is still in production, but I hope to see all of the shows and hope that there's more!
