 | Foghorn125 (0) 05/12/2006 | One of the greatest Centers of all-time, and hands-down the best Knick EVER.
averaged 21.0 ppg, 2.45 bpg, 0.96 spg and 9.8 rpg over an illustrious career that spanned 17 seasons and 1,183 career games. He never got a championship ring or an MVP award, but he got darn close in 1994, when he tied the NBA Finals record by getting 8 blocked shots in game 5.
He'll be a first-ballot hall-of-famer.

 | Jar-Jar Binks (17) 07/23/2005 | I've been to hundreds of games at The Garden. I think Ewing is the greatest player in franchise history and the best jump-shooting center in league history. He owns lots of Knicks records for a 15-year career. He may not have won a title, but night-in and night-out he gave it his all and never made excuses. His work ethic was phenomenal. Every time he stepped to the foul line, about 2 or 3 ballboys had to mop up his sweat off the floor. That said a lot about his dedication to the game. He and I even chatted a few times. He told me that he saw me a lot at the games. Great guy.

 | kattwoman (25) 04/07/2005 | my son and i had the pleasure of meeting patrick ewing at a virgin megastore one night after a basketball game. i thought my son was going to pass out. he finally got the nerve to approach and ask for his autograph. patrick at first politely refused . he said he was tired and just wanted to get a movie to watch and relax. my son politely said that it was okay he was just happy to have met one of basketballs greatest. as he turned to walk away patrick ewing said hold on. you deserve to have your autograph you are a respectful young man. thank you for not insisting. he talked with my son a few minutes more and he went to get his movie and my son was in heaven

 | hitmanfan5 (0) 07/16/2004 | One of the top 5 centers of all time. Greatest Knick of all-time. Great statistics. Should of been MVP in the Riley years at least once. My favorite player. Bad luck/timing and lack of one all star teammate hurt his chances of winning a championship. Should of beat Houston in 1994.

 | waynthetrain (0) 08/30/2003 | He was strong but slower than a cow at half speed. He wouldnt be so good now. The Jordan era had no competition. Watch tapes of Magic-Bird to see when the NBA hit its peak - well b4 the Jordan era. Luckily its back on the incline!

 | ellajedlicka21 (6) 11/17/2001 | He is the single greatest player in the history of the Knicks' franchise. He is near the top in the all-time scoring list in the game. Ewing leads the Knicks franchise in scoring, rebounding, and yes, assists. I think he deserves to be recognized as one of the top 20 players in history.

 | Wiggum (17) 05/21/2000 | Give Ewing a little credit. This guy is, what, 37 years old? And he just played a decisive role in New York's game 6 comeback against Miami. Ewing hit two big shots and forced a turnover in the final few minutes, proving to me that he's still playing with a lot of heart. Sure, he's never won a title, but the guy has always hit the court with guts, character, and a consistently solid game.

 | JGED184DU (0) 10/26/1999 | I really wish Ewing would have retired a long time ago, or been traded for younger talent, so the Knicks would not so heavily depended on him for so long. Being from N.Y. I wanted them to get new players. They should have traded Ewing instead of Oakly.
