After the wnba fight Lisa Leslie shouldn't have doubted anything. I mean when she jumped in there to help Candace Parker that was nice teamwork. She is a true player! Lisa Leslie is one of my idols and is for many people out their. I can't wait to see her in the olypics in August. She deserves to be there so much!

Well yeah Lisa have great physical abitlity, but it is true....attitude is everything. I have personally seen her in action, it wasn't nice, telling off the referee is not something any athlete does, it just shows no sportsmanship.

What's wrong with all of you? Leslie works her a** off every off season. I don't see any other player coming back season after season with another skill mastered. I am not a huge fan of the Sparks, but I respect them because of what they have accomplished. The team wins championships because of Leslie. Stop hatting her because no one on your team is as good or works as hard as she does. Leslie has also led the past two Olympic teams, which conain the best players. She has been the leader of the Olympic teams.

Jackblakc, Leslie is not unstoppable. If she put the numbers you wrote down every night, that would be her average. The Shock sure did stop her in the Finals. Great players always pick their game up when it counts. I guess she isnt that great...

Why nike and gatorade would pick her to endorse is a big mystery to me. She does not have charisma and it is not a big surprise that she happens to be one of the most hated wnba players (are these advertising people even watching wnba games outside of la? Leslie gets booed everytime she plays outside of the Staples Center!). Respected and well-loved players like Holdsclaw, Catchings, and Bird never get booed by fans that rally for teams they play against! Leslie plays dirty, talks trash, is way too overconfident. Younger players like Jackson and Riley will soon humble Leslie.

That Leslie has great talent as a basketball player is undisputed, but a player's attitude and persona and style has as much to do with their rating as their technical abilities. I am an avid (okay, obsessed) WNBA fan and am very familiar with the teams, players, dynamics, etc.,and leslie comes across as a smug, egotistical, pouty, and even mean player. she's no one i'd want to be part of a team with, regardless of her points in the paint. that comment that bigfun mentioned from her post-lynx press conference last night was a case in point. michael cooper took the loss gracefully, but leslie was a solipsistic whiny runt, not a real player.

Lisa Leslie looks like a freak of nature with those wide shoulders of hers - my guess is that she is actually a pair of siamese twins side by side with only one fully-delevoped head (perhaps the other was trimmed off early in her infancy, along with any superfluous arms and legs). But more to the point - she's got the wrong attitude for the WNBA. Everything she does is and tries to do is all about grabbing more attention and acclaim for herself. Compare her to the self-effacing players of the New York Liberty - what a publicity hound. Have you seen those little parties she throws for herself when she makes a basket? Does she ever contribute to the success of any of her team mates? And how about the other night when the Sparks went down to the Minnesota Lynx after being 21 points ahead. In the press conference that followed, Lisa Leslie claimed that what had happened had been bad for women's basketball. Evidently in her mind she can't keep "women's basketball" from being confused with "my product endorsement portfolio." She needs to think more about her team and less about Bud Lite.

You can always tell how good someone is, by how much the fans of their opponents hate them. I'm as tired of seeing the Sparks win as I was the Comets - and I'd love to see the East take the championship someday, but Leslie is an amazing talent whether you like her or not. You can't put up the stats like she does if you can't play - not in this league. When people try to knock her down, she gets right back up and shows them they were wrong. That's talent and that's heart - pure and simple.

Lisa could probably be the most awesome center in the league if she would just get into the weight room and learn how to muscle her way around the court; instead she relys on cheap shots to opposing players. True if she were in another market she would not get half the playing time or the MVP trophies.
