He is one of the best in the league, health problems have taken him away from being within the top 5 current NBA players

Injuries prevented him from staying at the five star he was, but he is back for now and is a four star at best.
sabasimba 07/03/2005
Should never have left Motown...he was king there.
bluetarbaby 05/15/2005
I can't ignore this. It's too perfect. He threw it right in my wheelhouse! This is Grant Hill's exact statement tonight during halftime of the Wiz-Heat game 4, about Rasheed's guarantee, He should've guaranteed game 3 in my opinion . But hey, what do you expect from a Carolina guy? Well, Grant Hill should've made the PLAYOFFS. But hey, what do you expect from a Dookie? Say, you played for Detroit, didn't you Grant? Yeah, that's right. How many championships did you lead them to? Just curious. Punk ass bitch. Go rehab, and don't worry about what Carolina guys are doing in the Playoffs. Dookies are fishing right now. You focus your little mind on that. What do I expect from Carolina pros?- 30 NBA championships, bitch. The question is, what do I expect from Dook pros? - not a damn thing! Now go rehab that ankle, knee, tongue, or whatever it is this week. Oh, and 'Sheed guaranteed a win last year in the playoffs. Do you recall what happened? Thought so........ ....F%cking nerd. I'm gonna put him on my Dook/nerd weblist. He sucks. He gets a one rating from me. When was the last time Rasheed was available to do halftime show during the Playoffs. Thought so. Go rehab, punk!.............go rehab in vain. )))) )))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) )))))))))))))UPDATE. Hey Grant, when you played for the Pistons in the 90's and you guys played the Bulls, what did you expect from a Carolina guy then? Well, you know what I expected, a whoopin' for you and the Pistons. And I'll be damned if that ain't exactly what I got. WHAT DID YOU EXPECT FROM A CAROLINA GUY THEN!?!When you lost to Carolina 7 times in college, what did you expect of Carolina guys then?! Thought so. In the future, try not to say words you're gona eat. WE WILL CALL YOU OUT! I can't believe you would dis 'Sheed when he is STILL PLAYING, and you're on vacation. When he is AN NBA CHAMPION, and YOU are a perrenial NBA loser. You're a punk. Talking about Carolina guys?!?! Son, you didn't beat them in college or pros! - what do you know about Carolina guys?! You've never beat them and you run your mouth?!! Please, you're a punk. Good luck next year...........maybe you can get another PITY BASED all star appearance!!!!!!!!!!!!)))))))))))))))))) )))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) ))))))))))UPDATE. WHAT NOW!? That's what I expect from a Carolina guy! That's what I expect, bitch! Now go enjoy your vacation, punk. And remember for future reference, FEET DON'T TASTE GOOD! - cause you ate your's today. guaranSHEED!- bitch. Just like he guaranteed last year.

Grant Hill's hurt? Hell must've froze over. It's a shame really because if it weren't for injuries the guy would've been a hall of fame caliber player. He's a classy person and role model to boot.

Grant Hill has totally impressed me. He is an outstanding leader for the magic and is a good scorer, averaging about 20 ppg(points per game). But the thing that has impressed me most is the way he has battled back from all of his ankle surgeries, truly remarkable, not to mention averaging 20 points a year after surgery.
bodizzle 03/02/2005
He's back! Grant is a good guy and he has surprised everyone by coming back from 5 ankle surguries over 4 years. Just happy to see him playing again and hope he can finish out his career on a healthy note. Not quite the player he was when with the Pistons, but still can play and gets credit for coming back.
jmoney52 10/03/2004
Would probably be 1 star, but he has so much potential.(sarcasm)
harold-insane 09/17/2004
This guy's ankle is made out of glass. He first few years with the Pistons placed him among the elite in the NBA. During the past 3 years, he has been injured and will probably never be the stats stuffer he was.
TheBigTiger 07/24/2004
He's good if he's not injured, but he's always injured.
conhusk 04/08/2004
nothing has be shown by HILL for the benefit of the team he plays for. beside playoffs and co-rookie of the year, GRANT HILL is such a dissapointing player. he's a jayson williams (former NETS) type of guy who plays very well to get big contract, then injured himself so that he could enjoy his money while still get paid. SUCH A LOSER
BeanoCook 02/09/2004
I have logged as many minutes the past 3 seasons. Piss pore. Greedy.

He's a good player- when he's not injured.
DrFeelgood03 10/21/2003
injuries, injuries, injuries
jamestkirk 09/02/2003
A classy guy to say the least. His injuries have been a tragedy to what would have been a lock for the hall of fame as a player.

Your career is over, stop wasting space and go away.
zuchinibut 03/24/2003
Its a shame what Grant Hill's career has become. He is a quality person and used to be a great player. However I don't think he is going to be able to come back from the chronic injury he has to his ankle. I hope he does return to All Star form, and can play the whole year, but I do not believe it is going to happen.
jgswors 01/21/2003
he should have gave up a long time ago
Davis21Wylie 06/09/2002
I like Grant, I've always liked him, but he's not in the category still of "the next Jordan" like he was in maybe 97, 98. There are many question marks for Hill going into 2002-03. One which has yet to be answered is how he and McGrady can coexist. Who is the Magic's leader now? Assuming he can return to his Detroit form, Hill is probably the most versatile player in the game. Nobody combined athleticism, size, passing, scoring, and decision-making like Hill, except maybe Pippen in his prime. I just wonder if his re-return will have a negative impact on the Magic. Rust has to be a major factor as well. It remains to be seen if he can rebound from two ankle injuries in two years.
yoshislink 05/10/2002
Would give higher score if he wasnt injured all the time.
Mikolaj Rogozinski 03/27/2001
Grant...Few years ago was my idol, now the injuries killed him.I dont know what will be with his career...Its bad, cause its completely player, statistic shows it.He shoud rest for couple months, then train. Then he would back to the top, Im very angry- why the injuries hit him, it shouldnt happend, now the fame of GH is shorter and shorter. But he will return to the top, I wish it happened!
Davedd 03/13/2001

Grant Hill is a very likeable player, and a very fundamentally sound player. One of the elite players of the league, he is not. There has been a lot of talk in Philadelphia recently that Allan Iverson isn't enough of a leader to make the Sixers a contender, and that they should get rid of him and try and get Grant Hill. What has Grant Hill done? With arguably a better supporting cast (and definitely better scorers), the Pistons are perennial first round casualties. This is not a knock on Grant Hill, this is praise to Iverson.
pink6390om 05/05/2000
Hey is the greatest!
Munson 04/04/2000
It's truly remarkable. It was only a few years ago that everyone was talking about him as the next guy to carry the NBA superstar torch. Now, players like Vince Carter, Kobe, Shaq, KG, and Duncan are mentioned and Hill is overlooked. Yet, he remains probably the best all-around player in the league.
DAIZ293OM 10/26/1999
Grant has a great all-around game. He also hard to guard one-on-one.
