He is a great coach. He turns teams around and knows what he is doing unlike some coaches today......

Anyone who can put up with AI's antics for such a long period of time and still keep his team winning is an unbelievable coach.

A burden to Allen Iverson? Is he supposed to sit there and let Allen not show up to practice and then take 50 shots a game? I give Brown alot of credit for just having to deal with Iverson, the biggest jerk in the NBA. His specialty is turning teams around from very bad, to very good, and then he leaves, that is his style. He is great at what he does.

Say what you want about Larry Brown and his nomadic coaching career, but the bottom line is this guy wins everywhere he goes. Roy Williams may be revered as a coaching legend in Kansas, but it is Larry Brown who coached their last national champion. What coach led the Clippers to the only success the franchise has ever had? That's right, it was Larry Brown. And now he has been absolutely masterful with the Sixers. He has forged an unlikely alliance with Iverson and brought the team back to glory. It was amazing watching them scrap versus the Bucks in Game 3 of their 2001 playoff series without Iverson. On the floor for the Sixers were guys named Ollie, Hill, Jones, Snow and the Sixers were in it in the fourth quarter. It looks like Brown has finally found a home in Philly and that's bad news for the rest of the NBA.

What can you say about Larry Brown? In his three years in Philadelphia, he has absolutely cleaned house and built a team to be reckoned with. Gone are talented malcontents such as Jerry Stackhouse, Tim Thomas, and Larry Hughes - replaced by hardnosed role players like Tyrone Hill, Theo Ratliff, and Aaron Mckie. He has formed a team that may be the toughest in the league, and one of the fiercest defensively. The only question to be answered is Iverson talented enough to carry the offensive load by himself on an elite team.
