He is a great player and a great person as well. I like the Cardinals, so I was happy to see Rolen go to St. Louis. I watched his career there rather closely.

Excellant 3rd baseman. Hits for average and power. Rock solid with the glove. Needs some more time in before he's considered HoF material but he's on his way.

For me being a Cubs fan and Scott Rolen being on the Cardinals I shouldn't like him right? WRONG!!! I have always thought Rolen was and is a great player. He is the best 3rd baseman of all time. He has a cannon for an arm. Too bad he isn't on the Cubs. :(

Great player with promise for improvement in the future--offensively and defensively. It's gotten to the point where I expect something every time he steps to the plate.
