 | ATSComairDriver68 (0) 06/18/2008 | Isn't it wonderful? They are BACK! 66-16 and enroute to their 17th championship. I've got my Rajon Rondo t-shirt on right now. Go Celtics! UPDATE: They did it! 17 World Championships! And they beat the Lakers in the process! A dream come true. I've got my Dennis Johnson jersey on right now and loving every minute of it. God bless the Boston Celtics - the greatest team in the sport of basketball.

 | GoinDownSlow (23) 06/22/2007 | Once proud and storied franchise, now reduced to throwing games in hopes of landing either the No. 1 (Oden), or No. 2 (Durant) pick in the 2007 NBA Draft. That is assuming they both decide to play pro ball.
Let's hope this year's draft breaks the curse of Lenny Bias.
Oops, almost forgot. Lakers Suck!
Update:
CELTICS FAVORED TO LOSE IT ALL! By Will McDonough, Record American, June 21 2007 15:35
BOSTON - NBA Commissioner Paris Hilton today announced that the Boston Celtics will be assigned to the Massachusetts Girls Basketball Catholic Central - Large League for the upcoming 2007-2008 season. When asked about the tougher schedule, coach Ernie 'Coach' Pantusso opined that the girls would be a step above the competition in the NBA East, most notably the New York Knicks, thereby making it easier for the team to lose all 82 games and guranteeing them the fifth pick overall in the next 20 drafts and he welcomed the increase in fan base from 150 season ticket holders and 200 tourists picked randomly off the street currently seen in the Boston TD MVP NSEW STP Banknorth North Garden."We may suck, but at least we ain't the friggin' Bruins" offered Coach Pantusso.
In related news, Vegas oddsmakers installed the Celtics as a 4-1 pick to win the division. Betting was heavy on the field.

 | minkey (36) 01/27/2006 | The Celtics just shook up their roster and traded Davis and a couple chumps for Szcerbiak and a couple chumps. They needed to make a change but Davis is having a career year - so is Szcerbiak but I would have rather seen them deal whiny Paul Pierce who has better trade value.

 | Jar-Jar Binks (16) 03/18/2005 | I hate this organization, but I have to admit that they're title contenders. Since they traded for Antoine Walker, they've won 9 out of 10. Dammit!

 | Blanco~Nino (0) 07/11/2004 | They'l probably be average for a few years. But once their young players get experience, tey might become a pretty good team. Delonte West is an excellent player. I'm glad they chose him.

 | TriSec (2) 07/02/2004 | I used to bleed green back in the 80s. Whatever has happened to this once proud franchise?

 | alphonso (0) 06/28/2004 | Ricky Davis is a selfish loser. Danny Ainge is a horrible GM who traded decent talent for garbage and wound up losing a good coach.

 | Memorial (0) 06/02/2004 | A classic franchise with a great player to build around in Paul Pierce. They look to be on the rise; if they can convince him to stay, then they're sure to be a future threat in a horrible conference.

 | ibleedgreen (0) 05/23/2004 | Yeah some f*cked up sh*t happened this season with the celts and shifting players around. And hey, i'd rather pull my finger nails off one at a time then see mihm f*ck stuff up. But you know what? Some exciting stuff is happening... Peirce is exciting alone, ricky davis is coming along to be a great player and my prediction for next year is that it will be the year of Banks. Banks is a fast player who is going to be one of the best point gaurds in the league (and his defense is amazing). Chucky Atkins for that f*ck up james? excellent. The only thing left is finding a way to get rid of waltah and mihm.

 | conhusk (0) 05/03/2004 | the only future hope is Paul Pierce, the rest is just a piece of junk. if the celtic really want to win: GET RID of AINGE !! otherwise every year just keep losing, and get a good draftpick position every year.

 | netsfan_44 (0) 10/05/2003 | Ever see them play? No D just shoot three's ... no team play ... sad considering the people that had over the years. GLAD they are in teh EAST.
Pierce is a great player though !

 | waltonesque (0) 08/27/2003 | This team needs some serious help. Pierce is a great player, but he's not going to last long without some help. They have no consistency and no inside presence. I hope Danny Ainge can figure out a way to move Walker out of there and bring in some rebounders. As long as Vin Baker's contract is Boston's problem, making the playoffs will be their highest aspiration.

 | BlueStar100 (0) 08/08/2003 | PAUL PIERCE IS THE BEST!!! He is so entertaining to watch. The Celtics have gotten so good compared to a few years ago. Now if only they could beat the Nets, they'd be the best team in the east!!

 | dperry09 (0) 12/16/2000 | Pitino needs the axe. I mean, they always get capped by a couple of points. His college coaching style isn't helping their W column.
