 | louiethe20th (73) 03/10/2007 | This team is playing the best basketball of any team in the country right now, if things don't change they are my pick to win it all!

 | JohnG (0) 07/05/2006 | What can I say, they always pump out nationally competitive teams. I can't argue that. However, they should have way more than 2 championships. This is probably the Buffalo Bills/Atlanta Braves of the college basketball world. I would probably list them as the sixth greatest college franchise historically. Also, I'm tired of everyone going on and on about the tradition there. Sure, they had James Naismith. But what did he do there? He is the only coach in the history of the program to have a losing overall record. Who cares if Dean Smith and Adolph Rupp went there? They didn't do jack while they were at Kansas.

 | bluetarbaby (8) 07/23/2005 | Gee, Kansas, I'm hungry, got any sour grapes? Losers, get over it. You know, I once had a beer when my 21st birthday was still 2 days away. Maybe you should report me. Roy gets a kid a graduation present, and you act as if he's dirty or something. Makes me mad, because you of all people know he would never intentionally be dirty. Do you like all the former Jayhawk players and respect their opinions? Well then, you should take a cue from them, because all they say is, Roy is like a second father to me, and we understand that is the kind of job he couldn't pass up. Hell, I'd be grateful to him. You'd be like UCLA has been in the past 10 years without him. I hope Giddens comes to Carolina just to piss you off. We are Carolina, we saw one of our native sons, we went after him..
...............get over it. Think of it this way: If you were signed up to act in a film directed by Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg called and said, I need you to drop that and come work on my film, what would you do? Thought so. So, shut up and go husk some corn or whatever it is you do. Because, in case you haven't noticed, no major media outlets care about your Roy revelation. What he do?- buy a kid a slice of pizza? Bitter punks. Check out my new weblist on 'greatest clutch shooters from the past 20 years, COLLEGE and PROS'. Go be bitter rivals with Missouri, losers. We got some east coast hoops to take care of.

 | dukerulesunc (0) 03/22/2005 | Wow! What a bunch of chokers. Am I the only one who wasn't surprised when they lost to Bucknell! The fact is, they lost to six teams who were ranked lower than them or weren't even ranked during the season, and not showing up for games is a bad disease to have in the tournament.

 | ACCfanatic89 (0) 03/15/2005 | They are good, I will admit that. However, they lost 3 games against teams ranked lower than they. You can't choke 3 times like that, and still be worthy of a number one seed. It's just not possible. What would they do w/o Simien??? They'd probably collapse. Roy Williams went home.... and it seems to be paying of for him. I'd like to see how they may fair against the elite in the NCAA. (Illinois, UNC, Duke, Wake, and Washington)

 | roomfullblues (0) 03/11/2005 | I think that KU is one of the best if not THE best teams out there this year. They can go a good 8-9 people deep. Not to mention that they have Simien who is arguably the best player in the nation.

 | VBA (0) 09/09/2004 | Just don't scheduel them against Duke, Kentucky, or North Carolina, They have a TERRIBLE record against all 3. They have also choked quite a few times in the tournament.

 | ViktoriaHinrichfan (0) 04/20/2003 | They are amazing. They always have been. They had a great showing this year and I thought from the beginning they would go all the way. They can up a little short in the end, but i think they could have and should have won the game. They have had great players like Paul Pierce come out from the Jayhawks who now plays for the Celtics and now they will have Collison and Hinrich (the best player EVER in the world) come into the NBA and I am confident that they will be awesome!

 | Wiggum (16) 03/21/2001 | Not too many people picked the Jayhawks to do much in the tournament this year (2001), but there they are in the Sweet 16, as usual. Regardless of how far they end up going, you have to give KU five stars. Roy Williams is one of the top five college basketball coaches in the country, and under his leadership the program is consistently a national power. On top of that, Williams runs the program with integrity and class. I’ll be rooting for the Jayhawks to knock off Illinois on Friday.

 | Pooty (0) 02/23/2001 | The Kansas Jayhawks are a really good team. They should be higher than at 14.They are just having a bad season. You people that didn't rate them at five, you do not know what a good team is.
