 | 1bostonc (0) 01/21/2008 | the heat suck. look at their record. don't make any excuses. 14 in a row. they only have wade. sad to say, cause i like shaq, but he is too old and too slow to compete with dwight howard. wade is fucking sick but is injury prone. the rest of those guys are washups. the heats management is shit aswell, who the fuck would trade for ricky davis?? not only is he a pussy, he has been a cancer on every team he's played for. u-don is a decent role player, but thats ALL anyone is ever gonna get for him. so, how does a team like that even compete?? i say trade wade and a few others, and send the heat to the D-league.

That's right, the Heat won the championship. Like Rick Ross says, "M-I-A- Yo!" Flash, Big Diesel, The Glove, J-Will, Zo, U-Donis, etc. The Heat put it together under Pat Riley under the right time and everyone came together when it counted most. During the season, we lost big games to Dallas, Detroit, Phoenix, San Antonio. But when it came down to the dollar signs, Pat Riley put it together for the tournament, similar to the Gators. The team came together when they polished the Nets in 5 games with great defense while the Pistons lackluster effort caused them to go 7 against Cleveland instead of 5, and their fatigue may have cost them Game 1. The Pistons were a great team, but for some of their fans to come on here and cry when their team didn't even give their best effort in the playoffs is not our fault. We did what we had to do and that was steal Game 1 at The Palace and take the home court and finish them off in 6. Dallas had a mental collapse when they should have been up 3-0. Shaq and Wade deserve respect for putting it together at the right time. Just like when Shaq shoved Rip Hamilton to the ground, M-I-A-yo wanted it a little bit more. M-I-A-yo! Warmer weather, and a hotter team. Going to win #2 next year. The NEW Combo -- Flash & Superman.

 | cutiepie15 (0) 11/25/2005 | The Heat have been so ovverrated it's sick. They can be good at times, but really, I feel the only advantage they have is Shaq's abnormal height.
They Pistons already finished them off last season.

 | minkey (36) 11/16/2005 | The Heat will be tough this year. With the addition of J-Will and Toine, they've got some answers besides Wade if/when Shaq goes down.

 | Supernatural IQ (2) 11/16/2005 | The Heat are nothing more than an athletic cast thrown together-much like the Yankees of baseball. Shaq is hurt half the time, and teams like Detroit have already proven they can handle him. Sure, the Heat have other scorers like Wade, but the rest of them are no better than any of the other starting five in the league. Scoring AND defense wins championships, and frankly, I don't see any D on the Heat. Flashy, yes, but prone to burnout in the long run. Not much to fear from Miami these days.

 | zuchinibut (36) 11/11/2005 | The Heat have made a good turnaround in the last two years by drafting Dwayne Wade and signing Shaq. The success of Shaq has led to other quality players choosing to come to Miami instead of going elsewhere. I think as long as Shaq is healthy, then Miami will be one of the top teams in the East.

 | Jar-Jar Binks (16) 05/25/2005 | I'm still picking them to win the Eastern Conference. They have a solid, balanced unit. Shaq will be fine, Wade will pick it up and Mourning will continue his defensive dominance. I'm picking them to beat the World Champs in 7 games. I can't stand the Pistons.

 | txhighballer1107 (0) 05/24/2005 | Well....my heat are now 8-1 in the post season. their loss to san antonio was disappointing. Shaq came out fighting, but didn't have any help. Wade didn't show up big like he normally does. What happened Miami??? Honestly, neither team played defense. Whoever plays better defense will probably win this series because both clubs are such powerful offensive forces. Detroit is known for their defense, but Shaq also played defense last night. We'll have to see how the series plays out. I still see my heat pulling the series out of their butts and making it to the finals.

 | bluetarbaby (8) 05/16/2005 | No, no, I see nothing to worry about. The Heat have it all the way. Detroit or Indiana will have nothing for Haslem, Dooling, Jones, Laetner, Butler, etc. Right Heat fans?! Say it! I'm begging you! - say it! Say you can't be beat. You got it all the way, right? This is easy! Prince could not possibly keep Wade in check.............
.......could he? And that frontline for Detroit is pitiful! No way they could contend with Laetner, Mourning, Shaq and HASLEM! No way. Oh, you guys are a lock for champs! SAY IT! SAY IT! SAY IT! SAY IT! SAY IT! ....................
........................................
..............I dare you! The Heat suck. F%CK THE HEAT! 1 star. We already saw how little Detroit gives a damn about Shaq. IF they beat Indiana! - looking at the matchups, Indiana might pose more of a threat. And if you're saying, 'how could Indiana threaten more than Miami'? - I'm not talking about seeds, regular season records, rest, rust, any of that. I'm talking about BASKETBALL. It's not as simple as who has the best record. If I absolutely ADORED THE HEAT. IF I LOVED THEM MORE THAN ANYTHING ON THIS EARTH!........I can't see them beating Detroit. IF I DESPISED, HATED DETROIT! - this has nothing to do with who I like. Maybe I'm wrong, but if I were a Heat fan, I wouldn't buy my Finals ticket just yet. Again, I could be wrong, but smart analyzation says otherwise. I'll feel no shame if I'm wrong, I'll feel like Miami defied smart basketball thinking, and pulled off an upset.

 | GB4Life (0) 05/16/2005 | Dwayne Wade is my hero. Great college player turning into an even better professional, not to mention he acts like a professional of the court

 | 1JohnDoeFan (5) 12/28/2004 | As much as I would hate to admit it... they are good now because of the Diesel known as Shaquille O'neal. I hated him with the Lakers (because I hate the Lakers) but now that he is back in the East, I can tolerate him.

 | ellajedlicka21 (5) 11/02/2001 | Man, do I hate the Heat. Riley has become a jerk since leaving the Knicks. They, under the regime of Pat Riley, have lost every year in the first or second round of the playoffs. They just can't come through in the clutch.

 | Tyie4371om (0) 02/23/2000 | An above-average team. Miami has been struggling this year because Hardaway's been out. Even with Hardaway, however, they don't really have what it takes to beat the New Yorks, the Portlands, or the Lakers. They lost to New York last year in the playoffs, and didn't make any changes. This year, they have an older and oft-injured Hardaway..Best thing is to retool around Mourning, who, is the best defensive center in the league - and probably has more heart and soul than anyone in the league!
