I thought they'd be perennial contenders this year, but instead they're perennial disappointments. Spree and Cassell don't wanna be there and KG's not playing up to his capabilities. It's no wonder why Flip Saunders got the axe. I even doubt Kevin McHale or anybody can turn this group around.

Amazing team when healthy. They were top seed in the West last year.

They put up a strong showing against the virtually invincible Lakers in this year's Western Conference finals. Kevin Garnett is awesome, just awesome, the best big man from a shooting perspective since Patrick Ewing. They'll be back, and since the Lakers won't, they'll be more of a threat than ever.

04 is WOLVES year. they may not win championship that year, but it's just a tremendous achievement for the franchise: KG won allstars MVP in previous year, then regular season MVP in the next year; now we start seeing KG on the rise (not just individually) but as well as the team. with current roster, get used to WOLVES in PLAYOFFS now

I'm happy to be the one to tell Chauncey above that he's a moron, I mean, come on. McHale brought in some guys to help KG out, and now look what Flip has been able to do with these guys. They are close to being the #1 seed in the 2004 playoffs. NOW we'll see if they lose in the 1st round or not.

You have to love Kevin Garnett. Talk about a great guy to build a franchise around.
