I am so embarassed to be a Knicks fan. Isiah brought this team to the ground. They are the Houston Texans of basketball. A good elementary school basketball team could beat the Knicks by 10 points right now.

Worst franchise in all of professional sports. No one comes close to sucking this bad. Isiah you bring in another undersized guard who has a shoot first mentality. What are you doing man!? Isiah Thomas should be fired.

This team just sucks. I'm sorry, but there's no choice for me, they are. Nobody on that team can lead them to wins. Larry Brown as coach? Great, but you know he'll leave in a year or two [Lakers and Brown, anyone?] Isiah Thomas is not doing a good job with them. I see absolutely no positive changes for the team since he took over. The same players? None of them can win, so get rid of them. Has he? Nope. And if he does, he gets these crummy players in return! I ask you, what is Thomas' long-term goals? These guys are bad. Very bad. Now all they need to do is sit back and enjoy losing for the next decade at least.

Karma's a bitch, huh Larry/Isaiah? - Both of these clowns could have retired with cushy jobs with a winning franchise in Detroit, but noooOOOooo they wanted to tough it out in the big-time media circus of New York. Home of some of the most hostile fans in all of sports - Knicks fans. - Good luck 'toughing it out' bozos - 35-40 wins tops.

One extra star for adding Larry Brown, otherwise, same old Knicks...awful!

The old Knicks of the 90s were a unique combination of finesse and physical play. I used to enjoy watching Ewing, Starks, Oakley, and the rest play (and I'm a Sonics fan). That being said, the new Knicks are a combination of bad contracts and REALLY bad contracts. And they get the same amount of press as the old Knicks did. GO AWAY ALREADY.

The Knicks in MSG what else can I say. This is one of the greatest franchises EVER!

LORDY LORD, how long will this misery last? I'm suffering here GOD! You know I worship the Knicks. It's been 32 years since they last won something. Losing 19 out of 23 is not gonna cure anything! HELP ME!

They can make the playoffs again next year.
conhusk 05/03/2004
in 04, KNICKS make the playoffs because they're on the eastern conference and sadly swept 0-4 by NETS. Marbury is not a team player (but somehow rank#2 in assist) yet, he has tremendous individual talent, but just not a good team player. in 5 years KNICKS wouldn't win championship, but get used to Playoffs appearance. KNICKS have numerous Fans, too bad they're just not winning lately

i am a knick fan but, i regret to say, theyre terrible. theres always hope for the future though, and for a return to the glory days. oh yeah, and patrick ewing was the greatest player ever.

As far as being a likeable team they are one step above the Lakers to me. I used to love watching Reggie Miller and the Pacers shut them down every year in the playoffs since it seemed to always pair the 2 teams up every year. John Starks was a cocky little prick and Patrick Ewing was always just a big, ugly, sweat-pouring disgrace.

i think the knicks lack in some area but overall they are truly a great team and have great players and hopefully will have some great players to come like marcus hatten

Sprewell/Houston are the best 1-2 punch in the league. Houston is a radar from 18 feet out. Spree can get it in the hoop. The Knicks show what's great about basketball. Their perimeter game is top-notch. My favorite team. Their history is really great too. The New York Knickerbockers won the first game in the history of the NBA on November 1, 1946 against the Toronto Huskies. Those teams back in the early '70s were awesome. May 8, 1970 will always live on in all New Yorkers' minds aas a great date. Willis hobbled onto the court and hit the first two jumpers of the game. Walt Frazier went on to score 30+ as the Knicks cruised to victory over the Lakers in game 7 113-99. Clyde, Willis, DeBusschere, Bradley, Cazzie Russell, Jackson, Earl, and Lucas. The teams throughout the '90s were enjoyable too, featuring Ewing, Starks, Oakley, Houston, LJ, Mason, etc. The Knicks trips to the finals in '94 losing in seven was heartbreaking along with their loss in 5 against the Spurs in the '99 finals. They represent all of New York. Madison Square Garden just holds such "mystique and aura" that it is impossible to describe its greatness. There's no place more exciting to be than at the Garden.

the best team

Spreelove all the way to the championship! He's a great defender and is CONSISTENT. Houston plays when he feels like playing. Knicks need two more talented players to complete this awesome team. For now...their heart and courage can take them to the championship.

Best team in the East. Spree and Houston give NY a one-two scoring punch that is hard to defend. What's often overlooked, however, is their defense - they are both solid defenders. If NY can get everyone healthy, and get Ewing back to top form, they should romp through the East and be able to challenge any of the Western Conference Superpowers.

Knicks Rule baby!

As a Knick fan, it pains me that Sprewell is a part of the team. I can't think of anyone in the league who is more difficult to root for.
