 | Supernatural IQ (2) 11/16/2005 | Boo!!!!!!!!! These guys think they're as good as Detroit? Bullcrap. They won last year, sure, but they took seven games to do it. Ginobili is soft. If he gets injured he'll go to the bench. Duncan? Can't argue with his production, but as his stats in the Finals show, he's not too good under pressure like that. Parker is a solid point guard, but he's not the all-star some seem to think he is. That whole team is going to fall apart someday soon, simply because everyone except maybe Duncan and Horry are soft [and even Duncan is softer than a big man should be.] Spurs? Ain't nothin' but a joke.

 | bluetarbaby (8) 07/24/2005 | I give you credit, but I know you're not better than Detroit. I'd like to see who would win between the two teams on a playground. YEEEAH, wonder who would win that? Ginobli would take it to the hole one time before he ran back to Serbia or wherever the hell he's from. Oh, he's so tough. Personally, I don't see it. Just because he makes it seem like he took a hard hit, doesn'ty mean he did. Sheeeeeeit, you graze that boy's jersey and they talk like he got hit by a freight train the way he makes it look. I bet in actuality, he didn't get fouled 10 times in that series. Not making excuses - Detroit got beat fair and square, but I'm just saying, they aren't as tough as the idiotic Waltons of the world want to believe. Example: Vinsanity is supposed to be so soft while Bowen is supposed to be so tough, yet I've seen Vince light him up for 35 at least 4 times. They ain't nothing. All hanging their heads and stuff after that game 4. F them. Shoot a 3, the Euroleague Spurs! - go for it, you're tough now! Put 'em on a blacktop on the east coast - we'll see how tough foreign players are. Let Ginobli violently fall to the ground at the Rucker and he'll get a Nike print on his face.................not a whistle. I'm sick of that crap. And ACC refs are getting worse than all of them. LET 'EM PLAY! And I don't care if it's a bad call against a team I'm rooting against! I wanna see some basketball! I'm sick of that soft ass Euro influence penetrating the American game. Yeah, shoot a 3 cupcakes! What are you 6 ft 11? I bet Detroit would break the Bulls win record if the 3 pointer was abolished! Think about it. San Antonio sucks. I don't care if they win 10 titles in a Row. Udrih, Ginobli, Nesterovich, blah blah, supercalifragilistic..............F them. F a Virgin Island dork. Here's my team, Billups, Iverson, Artest, Rodman, Wallace. That's what I'm talking about. Parker? Sheeeeeit. Palevous francay.............you can't please your Texas chick girlfriend. F them . She cheats on you, punk. Now go hang your ahead about missing a freethrow, and get me a CWASSSANT while your at it.! Check out my new weblist about greatest clutch shooters, COLLEGE AND PROS. PS- I bet you 'Hot Sauce' would DOG, ANNIHILATE Parker one on one. I've never been impressed by him. NOT ONCE! Check my weblist.

 | txhighballer1107 (0) 06/26/2005 | San Antone pulled it off! Horry's got 6 rings with 3 different teams! Timmy's got his 3rd MVP trophy and another ring (even though I think Ginobli should have been the MVP with as much heart as he had). They were the best team in the league this year. The series went to seven and no one can say that they just got lucky. They fought hard all the way to game 7. It just depended upon who had the legs and the heart to pull off a win. San Antone did it. They beat a hell of a Pistons team. I don't see how they only had one foul the whole second half (until they had to start fouling). It's just amazing to me that you can play such hard nose defense without fouling. It's crazy! But anyway....way to go fellas! The trophy is back in the heart of Texas where it belongs! YEEEEEEHAAAAAW!!!

 | Jar-Jar Binks (16) 04/17/2005 | I'm still picking them to go to the Finals because of their depth and experience. If Tim Duncan isn't fully recovered, they're in deep trouble.

 | X Factor Z (13) 04/16/2005 | The long season, all star game and Olympics may have worn down Tim & Manu
a bit. But these guys usually come ready to play. The Spurs need Devin to come back too...when he is on he's
quite extroidinary to watch. The Spurs probably can handle Phoenix, it's Miami
that worries me-they always have had trouble with Shaq. Ankle injury to Rasho a concern as well.

 | Sixerzfan13 (1) 02/01/2005 | Theyre the best team in the land. And what amazes me is how they still manage to win while shooting free throws worst than Shaquille Wallace(Shaq and Ben Wallace Combined). They can execute very well and play great defense.Excelling at one end of the court is one thing, but dominating both offense and defense is the definiyion of a great team.

 | JoeSchmo (0) 07/19/2004 | If there was a team that would earn the label The People's Team, the San Antonio Spurs would come to mind. The Spurs are a high-class, fan-friendly organization that is not only successful on the basketball court, but also do great work in the community. David Robinson has reached legendary status in San Antonio beyond his basketball accomplishments.
The team is fundamentally sound with good coaching and a brilliant front office. Gregg Popovich stresses to his players to play defense, and that has translated to many wins.
Ticket prices to a Spurs game rank among the lowest in the league. The atmosphere at a Spurs game has the feel of a college game since they're in a small market, and the fanbase is very loyal.
The Spurs have won 2 championships on a shoestring payroll, and are poised to win more with Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobili making up their core.

 | the_neptunes_214 (0) 03/06/2004 | Without a doubt, the most boring team in NBA History. Not only that, i dont like the fact that it is just a one man team. Duncan cant play the whole game long. Also, Bowen should be banned from the NBA..What a low-class athlete who uses the term defending for humping his players leg..thats not called defense, that is called molestation...Bowen...You suck!!

 | waltonesque (0) 08/27/2003 | Tim Duncan is one of the few players that can give a coherent interview. They've made some nice improvements during the offseason and dumping the Admiral's contract (I love him, but he was overpaid) and Steve Smith $8 million a year was huge. So long as they don't blow it on Stephen Jackson.

 | LudaChris6969 (0) 05/18/2003 | i dislike the spurs just because every time that i see tim duncan i just picture Carlton from Fresh Prine of Bel Air. That and i just really dont like them, they arent exciting at all, basically a boring team, yes they are good, but terribly boring to watch.

 | RebelYell1861 (9) 05/17/2003 | Any team that knocks the most unlikable team in the NBA (Lakers) out of the playoffs gets 5 stars from me.

 | Solenoid DH (19) 05/17/2003 | David Robinson is a class act and Tim Duncan is exciting to watch. While they are not my very favorite team, I will always be indebted to them for ridding us of the ghastly Lakers in May 2003.

 | Prof.Chaos (0) 05/17/2003 | Thank GOD! They Beat the Lakers! Finally that arrogant, cheap, sh*tty team is defeated! I like the Spurs they're a good team. Not the most exciting team, but who cares? They rely on fundamentals and they do a damn good job.

 | lukskywlkr. (3) 05/17/2003 | Thank you Lord, thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you for letting the Spurs beat the Lakers this year. I so thoroughly can't stand that group of goons, I can't even describe the joy I feel that they are going home a bunch of losers.

 | TheMyth (0) 04/13/2003 | Here's to the Admiral. If my Mavs or Kings can't win, then win the title for David Robinson. Not only is he one of the classiest players in the NBA, but he also shares my birthday and the day the first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima - not that any of that matters. Duncan will sorely miss Robinson next season, but he will take the helm of the Spurs and do a good job.

 | spro (0) 05/28/2001 | An amazing all round team, if Duncan and Robinson aren't tearin' it up inside, there dishin' it out and hitten the three. Now all the need is a piont gaurd. Hey GP wanna come join the spurs?

 | Wiggum (16) 06/21/2000 | With a healthy Tim Duncan, the Spurs would have given LA a run for its money this year. He makes the Spurs a completely different team, and his injury was the kiss of death for their dreams of a repeat. If Duncan stays healthly, look for the Spurs to do much better in the playoffs next year.
