UNC sucks!!...they are ranked #21...DUKE is ranked #1!!....

Ok, maybe they are the 4th most liked team in the nation, but 4th best? No way. They are entertaining to watch with a great freshman forward, Hansbrough and several other new players that could develop into pro prospects. I think this is a very contented team after winning the national championship, and having lost 7(?) players to the draft and graduation they could not be expected to remain on top.

Here's a big time stat proving UNC the greatest CBB tradition alltime,now,& 4ever.UK,IU,&UNC are the only programs in CBB history to win NCAA Titles in 4 different decades.But UNC is the only one of the 3 to win NCAA Titles in 3 consecutive decades.In 1982,1993,&2005.UK has won 7 titles in 48,49,51,58,78,96,&98 but where's the consistency like UNC's.I repeat!Where is UK in the 1960's & 1980's.They don't have a title in the 1980's.IU won a title in the 1940's,1950's,1970's,&1980's but where are they in the 1960's,1990's,& right now.UK & IU just dreams every night they had that kind of tradition as UNC has.I repeat for the ignorant moderator who's a biased UK fan.UNC is the only CBB program to win NCAA Titles in 3 consecutive decades.1982,1993,2005.If you can't read it just remember,UNC record 16 F4's UK 13F4's IU 8F4's The Heels rule!!!

I hate the bull people are giving me for the lose the other day to Illinois. I mean, Carolina lost 7 players. 7. The illini team still have two or three starters from last year. We only lost by a total of 4 points. That is good givin that the Illini team is number 12 in the country, or maybe that just means that there over rated and Carolina isn't! Call me win Illinois wins a national chamionship, maybe 4, like Carolina. Then call me and cry when all your starters go pro and 2 from the bench leave. ROCK ON HEELS!

I was checking out 'scouthoops.com' today, and I became curious about something.......why the hell does Ohio State think they have the best recruiting class of all time coming in 2006 when they don't even have the #1 class in 2006? We do. In fact, with all the jokes and laughing about our upcoming team in '05-'06, I'm laughing for a different reason........by GOLLY, Carolina is about to win it again in '06-'07. For that class, we already have all six scholarships filled. So, that team will have sophomores Green, Hansbrough, Frasor, Ginyard, Copeland. Senior, Reyshawn Terry. Junior, Thomas. If that's not impressived enough, the 7 I just mentioned will be joined by #1 ranked pg, Tywon Lawson, #1 ranked PF Brandon Wright, #1 SG Wayne Ellington, and other top ranked freshmen Alex Stepheson, William Graves (local boy), and Deon Thompson. Once again, the problem in Chapel Hill will not be winning, but deciding who should play. They'll probably have to go back to the blue and white team days of Coach Smith - ......5 take a breather, 5 come in. Everybody said point guard would be an issue for us. The only prob I see is which one to play. Thomas should be excellent by the time Lawson arrives, but Lawson is the best point guard in America. He just got 51 points last night. Ahhh, the problems of a Tarheel fan. And many writers think Ellington is amazing and wouldn't be going to college at all if not for the age limit. So, what if Terry has turned into a top scorer/athlete like many think he will by the time Ellington arrives? In any case, shut up Ohio State, the #1 class in '06 is not something you possess. Look at 'scouthoops.com' and see for yourself. So, go cheat on a test or worry about Northwestern or something. We'll take care of basketball recruiting, thank you.

NOBODY can say that Carolina is over rated, they one a National Chapinoship, they sure proved them selves more then Duke did when they lost to Michigan State! I WILL ALWAYS BE A DIE HARD FAN OF CAROLINA AND WILL NEVER FORGET THIS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS, ONE OF THE BESTS!

Fine....even if I hate Carolina....I'll give 'em credit. They were the better team this year. They played a hell of a tournament. Can't argue with that....but guess what. There won't be a repeat. All I have to say is NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!! and that's it... Posted 3/14--Carolina has the potential to take it all this year... they have worked for everything they have gotten this year and deserve the #1 seed they got. Its going to be amazing if we see them cutting down the nets in St. Louis. Born and raised as a carolina fan... my whole family is upssessssed with carolina except for my uncle who is a duke fan(yuck! embarrassed to even say it!) the greatest dynasty of all time! i spend 4 hours of my day listening to woody(on game days, pregame show, the game, postgame show) i wear a carolina shirt almost everyday because i have so many and i wouldnt want it any other way!! im tarheel born and tarheel bread, and when i die i'll be tarheel dead!! Sure dean martin was a great coach, nobody can deny that unc4me07, but coach K is much better. The job he has done with the team this year has been amzing, because, as anyone would tell you, the talent level of the 05 devils is not nearly as high as the duke powerhouses we have seen in the past. And Roy Williams is the worst coach ever. If Kryzewski got had the kind of players Williams has had to work with over the past 17 years he would have won at least seven or eigh titles already. PS. UNC is 2-14 vs. duke past five years. haha.

I don't hate NC they are just my rivals. I love Michael Jordan and I love McCants. Anyway they are good just not my cup of tea because of the cocky fans, who dis Duke ALL THE TIME! I'd like to give Carolina five stars, but I just can't. Not with the Santa Clara loss. I know it was the first game of the year and everything, but there's no excuse to lose to a team with that kind of talent disparity. How do I know what kind of talent Santa Clara has? Because my city league team beat a team with two former Santa Clara players on it last week. No excuse.

First off, I have to say that I hate everything about CRAPOLINA, yeah that's right. I hate their pansy shade of sissy blue, I hate their goat mascot and I hate their idiotic fans. CRAPOLINA is the biggest joke in the college world (remember last year when the players shaved their heads? ha, need I say more?) they constantly fall on their faces and their coward fans run and hide when they do. Duke is superior in every way to CAROWHINA, I know and every unc fan knows it to. Roy Williams is a pointy nosed, stump jumping, backwoods, pig humping, goat roaping hillbilly with the iq of a rock. He is a two faced traitor and I don't know why stupid unc fans adore him. I wouldn't, look at what he said about not caring about unc when he was at Kansas...duh. But unc fans are not known to be the brainy types. Unc sucks, their fans suck more. MeCants is a project punk, Fatty Felton is a reject from the hood and Gay May is a fat bloated moron. Doherty should be the coach, he was 100% unc material. Dean Smith was a joke too, a fat country hick with no brains at all. CRAPOLINA's winning streak will soon fall, just like they always do and then all unc fans will say what they always do what until next season or we almost did it or better we played as good as Duke. Royal blue is the only shade of blue and Duke is the elite school of the ACC. CRAPOLINA BLOWS....

Haven't seen much from them this year but its still early and they have a lot of capapble players. Im aiming to see a big acc shootout. Of course Im pulling for duke to take it but...its still good to see the acc represented. And the people of North Carolina like myself are represented well.

We have a chemistry problem - and that chemistry problem is, when you put us on the basketball court together, we explode. Any Heel heads out there hear that Mike Jarvis idiot? Jesus, what the hell does the guy that coached St. Johns know about chemistry? He wouldn't know chemistry if RON ARTEST slapped him in the face. I think analyst underestimate Roy. I emphasize 'maybe', we MAYBE had a chemistry problem last year. I think it is impossible coach Williams doesn't pull this squad together, after a full season of learning the system. Chemistry? They talk about us like we're UNLV or Cincy or somebody! We obey coach - we dominate- PERIOD! HELLOOOOO!- It's not a matter of chemistry, it's a matter of DEFENSE! We had a sizeable lead at one point in every game we lost last season. CHRIST, WE COULD HAVE BEEN UNDEFEATED LAST YEAR! If you idiots out there think that won't be different this year with Marvin Williams, Quentin Thomas, and a fresh understanding of what Roy wants, you simply don't comprehend the game! Roy is truly bing underestimated at this point. Heel fans, has the realization truly hit you yet that we have ROY WILLIAMS? This ain't Bob Huggins. This ain't Pete Gillen. We'll be okay,trust me. RELAX! - 4 studs signed letters of intent on Wednesday alone! ROY WILL MAKE CHEMISTRY! RELAX.

It is a fact (look it up), we sell more merchandise than any sports team pro or college, besides the Yankees and Cowboys. That means we have more fans than everybody else. And that means we rule. We have the best recruiting class for '05 - '06, and if Bynum commits tomorrow, we probably have the best class of all time. In other words, I hope you haters had fun while it lasted. Maybe they are overhyped coming into this upcoming season, and maybe they're not. But I will say this, with this kind of talent, if they do what Williams says, when and how he says to do it, I can't see any team stopping them.

It'll be a stretch for these guys to be in the ACC's top 4...I like Jawad Williams; he's got great inside presence, he's very athletic. I just question if he can have an immediate impact; on this team he has to...Jason Capel is overrated. He came in 4 years ago as a top 5 recruit, but he never has really come through for them...Losing Forte hurts, but I see the loss of Peppers as more devastating. Without him, who's going to beat guys up inside? Kris Lang?...Lang and Bersticker have never been go-to guys; it'll be intresting to see how they react to the pressure...They have serious issues at the point; Curry was not that great, but losing him hurts their depth, and now they must start either Morrison or Boone; I don't envy Doherty with that choice.

CLASS ORGANIZATION - pretty much sums it up!!!

It's pretty mind-boggling, but this team has been to the NCAA tournament 27 years in a row. Yes, 27 YEARS. Arizona is the next closest team with around 17 years. During that time, they have won two national titles (although critics may say that both were tainted - the pass and the timeout) and have been to many Final Fours. Plus, look at the long line of players who are currently in the NBA who went to Carolina (Carter, Wallace, Stackhouse, Jamieson, Hubert Davis, Rick Fox, Jeff McGinnis, Sam Perkins). I think it is pretty fair to say that they are the best program in the country. And, this year, they are #1 with a very real chance to win another championship.

They have to be a lot better team than their record reflects. Lots of B-ball tradition, so it is hard to visualize NC as an underdog...

Not a bad team but not nearly as good as theyre made out to be.Rely too much on Haywood, Forte, and Cota.Would be nothing without any one of them, especially Haywood.Plus 99% of Carolina fans I know are JERKS.
