I have returned an Onkyo Home Theater receiver for the same repair. I received it, installed it and it repeated the same failure again. I have serious doubts that there is any 'post repair testing' done given the short turnaround time. The same 'solder repair' was noted on the repair statement, Apparently nobody looked into what was causing the solder connection to fail nor was there any testing done to see if the repair would work.

Very easy to set up. All speaker wires were included, as was a microphone for setting each speaker individually. The sound is absolutely AWESOME ! I could not believe the difference, not only in my Blu-Rays with Dolby TrueHD, but in all my audio. This is the best unit on the market.

This system is BY FAR the best Home Theater System in a box available. It puts out 130 watts per channel for 7 channels, plus has a 10 inch 290 watt subwoofer. This unit decodes the newest Dolby TrueHD and DTS MasterAudio 7.1 soundtracks. It features 4 HDMI repeater inputs, as well as enough other inputs for all your needs. It features Dolby PLIIx, which produces 7.1 channel sound from any source, as well as ALL Dolby and DTS formats. It comes with 7 decent speakers in addition to the subwoofer. This system will rock your world for a price that is very inexpensive. 5 stars !!!
