I didn't live through the Nixon era, but I've read a few of his books that he wrote during his post-Presidency and found them to be very interesting. The writing was very introspective and he seemed like a deep thinker, something you don't see a lot in political life today that much. History however will continue to judge him in terms of his scandal. That's unfortunate, considering his contributions.
