She's beautiful and sexy in a smoky kinda way, a bit like a younger English Lauren Bacall. She definitely brings much needed class and sophistication to cinema and is often the highlight in what I think of as overrated and dull arty films like The English Patient and Gosford Park. She was lovely in Four Weddings and frankly if I had written the script I would've had Hugh Grant's character get off with her when her character confesses about always having loved him.

Classy....and therefore hot!

KST for some reason seems to draw the part of the flawed or tarnished personality, or the antihero. Notwithstanding this, she has a knack for bringing these sometimes less than desirable, or at least hard to comprehend, characters to life. Mainstream critics should have discovered her artistry a decade or so ago, but her mysteriously singular acting should help to build on the success of “The English Patient” and “Horse Whisperer.”

Cool, classy, elegent English rose, KST appeals to the Merchant-Ivory in all of us. Good actress in good roles; unfortunately becoming too old to play the ingenue, and may have gove over the slippery slope into the land of supporting actresses. SHame, because in her day she generated real heat on screen while maintaining a classy, splendid personae.

she is wonderful and quite,quite beautiful. like a perfectly cut diamond but without the hard glitter. and she is equally adept at drama and comedy (far and away the best thing about "Four Weddings...). somehow, she even managed to make herself unattractive in "angels and insects". superb.

I absolutely love Kristin Scott- Thomas. She is an incredible actress who brings all her characters to life. Her best performance was in The English Patient. She was so moving and so real. Hopefully she keeps doing those sort of films, unlike that terrible, cheesy film she did with Prince.

She is an ok actress, I just got jealous of her in the English Patient, because Ralph was her lover. I didn't really admire her character anyway.

While watching The English patient, I saw a wonderful actress, beautiful and touching, but I think I've liked her even more since I saw her in An unforgettable summer, a Roumanian movie by Lucian Pintilié, in which she was divine!
