I can't say enough good things about this show. The cast of talented actors have great chemistry and play very believable characters. The storylines are interesting and move at a good pace. The exciting cases that this F.B.I. team delve into are mixed with a nice touch of romantic tension between the two lead characters. Something for everyone!A rare quality of this show is that it's written to appeal to adult audiences while remaining family-friendly. I would have no worries about sitting down and watching Sue Thomas F.B.Eye with any age group. It's sad that this show was cancelled after only three seasons, but thankfully, can still be found in reruns.

Some people might view this as a lame show, but I really enjoyed it, even though it was a very short run. It seems to me like most of the good shows get cancelled before they're even given a chance.

My favorite episode that I remember of all of them, was the golf club one. I laughed the most when I saw that one. The characters are so uplifting. I hope it comes out on dvd or any of people's favorites.

I personally do not like this show, why? It's because I'm a muslim and every episode is about Muslims and Terrorism. We're not all like this. I feel that this show is giving ideas to the American people that all muslims are bad and that we're all out to destroy the world. It's no where like that at all. We all talk about Peace with the world, but show's like this stir people's minds into believing that we're out to get them. I hate this show. It should be banned. It's showing hate towards muslims and it's sad.

I agree with schmeep and the other reviewer who said THIS SHOW SUCKED! Please by all the Elder Gods don't let the idjits who produced this show get it up and running EVER AGAIN! Bad enough it's in overkill syndication up here because it's CanCon (Canadian Content), new episodes would be WORSE. Anyone who thinks this show is an accurate depiction of what it's like to be a disabled minority (of ONE) in a workplace, needs to get their butts up off the couch and get out into THE REAL WORLD (remember that people?). The only realistic part was at the beginning where the one guy had it in for her. It stopped being realistic when they came to an understanding and he started getting respect for her! In the Real World, if someone's got it in for you in the workplace (especially if you're even just a little bit different) THEY WILL NOT LET UP. Ever. Of course it would have been too depressing to show Reality, having Sue get all kinds of undeserved reprimands, bad performance evals, no chances at advancement, no raises, etc., the way it really happens in the Real World when a coworker wants to undermine you because they don't think you should be taking a normal person's job! Don't get me started on the "technology" they showed. All of that was pure science fiction!! Nobody can text that fast, not even teenagers, never mind when they're in danger! Never mind the fact that relay sucks worse than anything imaginable (and Homeland Security is going to let an FBI AGENT carry on a CLASSIFIED CONVERSATION in front of a third party? I've got a great bridge to sell you. Barely been used.) As for it being "Based on a true story" the only part that's true is her name is Sue Thomas, and she was Deaf! The rest is pure fantasy CRAP and has no bearing in reality! The real Sue Thomas (disabilities advocate IRL more power to her but she's real religious which puts me off) was NEVER in the field, she only ever got so far as being the manager of a department of other lip-readers! There's no way she could have done any of the things the character did on the show because HELLO?! She's DEAF! If you're paralyzed by heights, you physically cannot become a parachute instructor! It's the same thing! Then there was all that "Touched by a Deaf Angel" schtick. At least on the real Touched by an Angel, you could tell when the girl started glowing, it was time to change the channel cuz the preaching was about to commence! I know I know I know it was on an Xtian network so they had to throw it in but I bet the actors got lots of cavities! Not a show for the insulin-dependent for sure! The worse part? IT'S STILL IN RERUNS. And people are still falling all over themselves about how great it is, bla di bla bla. The show SUCKED. It always sucked, it continues to suck, and will suck, until such time as it is finally pulled off the air! The trufans are still nuts over it though. Good thing I'm not still living in Mississauga; The First Ever Sue Thomas Fan Convention was held this year (yeah I know it sucks right) and it was way too close to my old apartment! I wouldn't have been able to resist setting up my own private little picket! They probably would have thumped me to death with their bibles!! (I'm not religious can you tell ha ha.)

Sue Thomas F.B.eye and Doc are the very nice and neat Tv shows. These 2 shows are good for every one and all age to watch. Good and healthy shows!
markav 04/01/2006
I set my VCR faithfully so I wouldn't ever miss an episode. I was so sad to hear it was discontinued. I hope they continue to at least keep playing the re-runs. I also hope the episodes come out on DVD. Between Sue Thomas F. B. Eye and Doc, I'd have a hard time saying which was my favourite--two really quality TV programs!!!
jo nigro 03/30/2006
I think Sue Thomas:F.B.Eye is a great progam in a time when TV offers very little in the way that this show does for respect, consideration & kindness to others. This show should never go out of production.
nanajo 03/14/2006
I've seen a lot of television in my 60+ years and STFBE is the best show I've ever seen. I hope some station picks it up and helps fund a continuation of the series. Brickbats to the user who remarked that it was awful and gave it one star -- what a weirdo -- lighten up -- it's a TV show -- geesh!
lulu49 02/24/2006
to whom it may concern. I really enjoyed Sue Thomas F.B.EYE.It was a great show.Sorry it had to end.Hope it will return. The cast and crew were also great. Refreshing! In today's television series, you either get stupid, crass and sex-filled comedies or violent, politically-correct dramas. In a sea of all that garbage, a Doc or a Sue Thomas is hopeful, honorable and refreshing. (And I don't have to worry about my 6-year old daughter being in the room when I watch it!)
It's not me it's YOU 11/30/2005
This show is great. In the first season there is ALOT of bluppers, but the show just kept getting better and better. It helped me realize that anyone can do anything they put their minds to, they just have to try. Plus, the raids and take downs are COOL!
sirenasue 11/15/2005
Clean, Courageous, no soap opera slut, give it to us on DVDs, Please!!! I love this show. What a refreshing option to all the trash that's put out! Loyalty to country, honor to God, true friendship portrayed, truth and candor between co-workers -Great Examples! More, more, more!!!
stephanie milner 11/05/2005
please put the show back on tv and make dvd's !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, people who like this show, but I DETEST it. I'm an interpreter for a government agency in Washington, DC (and in the real world, Sue would have one of those, FYI)and am married to a Deaf man and I think this show is completely ridiculous, as is Sue's ability to follow complex and artificially wordy group conversations, even when speakers are standing behind her. There is too much wrong with this show to even sum up here. I'm glad it's gone. It gave people an unrealistic impression of deafness and pissed me off every time I watched it. Oh, and it was too syrupy-sweet.
Laker8Girl 02/24/2005
I love this show! It can be a little cheesy at times, but all in all, it keeps me glued to the tv, and my saturdays are geared around the show!
lovejack 02/16/2005
In my opinion, this show teaches you a lesson each week. Also there is a great humour in the tv show. And also great chemistry etween Sue and Jack.

What a show to sit down with your family and enjoy! It shares action, along with real relationships, and great vlaues to instill in all of us. There are few I feel comfortable watching with my children. This is definitely one of them!

From the first time that I saw STFBEYE, I've loved it. I'm a woman in my 20s that grew up with family sitcoms on network TV, and since then, lost faith in the entertainment value on the tube. I don't want to see excessive sex, violence, and language. I want to be able to rest assured that, if my mother strolled into my livingroom unannounced, she would not be shocked by what I was watching. This one's great - Sweet funny characters, interesting intriguing stories, genuine morals without being preachy. Since they haven't yet scratched the surface with these agents, I just hope that STFBEYE is on for a long long time!
Rick Jarron 08/28/2004
Appealing characters, interesting storylines, and an entirely different tone from most mainstream dramas. Some think it unrealistic due to its softer edge. I suggest that those shows (currently the majority) that posit a world of unrelentingly hard-edged people and situations are just as unrealistic. (I know of no police force I've worked with, for example, quite as corrupt and bleak as many popular shows would have us believe they are) Watching most current dramas leaves one feeling a bit cynical. After watching Sue Thomas, I feel somewhat inspired and refreshed--surely a better way to face the world.
Bugeyedmonster 06/20/2004
I like the premise of the show. You don't often see shows that feature handicapped people in a positive light. And the fact that they chose Deanne Bray (whom does have hearing problems) is another point in their favor. On the other hand, I found the storyline a bit too pat and sweet. (Rather like Touched by An Angel.) The characters could use a bit more development. I do realize that if they stuck too-real-to-life that the show would be too boring. (The real Ms. Thomas spent most of her time at a desk, 'reading' lips from surveillance videos.) But I do wish that they would 'date' the show. (Ms. Thomas worked for the FBI in the late 70s- early 80s.) If you like Touched by An Angel you will definitely enjoy this show. But if you're someone whom enjoys more hard drama, then this show would be a bit too soft.

My husband and I love this show. We really enjoy each character and how each affect the whole. This show reveals and addresses the things that really matter in life, case in point, weaknesses and every day trials to overcome. We get the sense that we are not alone in them. Thus, we are drawn closer with identifying with and caring for our fellow human beings. Further, it affirms what is in our heart and our common sense regarding relationships and the current political climate. Thank you Johnsons and all the behind-the-scenes people who work so hard to bring us this inspiring TV drama - you are making an impact. Keep on the course. P.S. We enjoy the fact that Sue and Jack are learning a little bit more about each other and solidifying their friendship (and their friendship with others) before, if any, serious thing happens.

It is a great show. I just recently started watching it and I just love it. It has humor, action, and even a little bit of romance not alot but just enough. That is what I call a good plot. It keeps you waiting to see what will happen next.
lpm 04/11/2004
It's a great show - wonderful actors, characters with lots of ways of connecting to each other and viewers, and a positive way of learning about deaf culture. Great plots; I try not to miss it/

Never miss this show. Has something for everyone. Suitable viewing for all the family. Great characters. A class act.
MissPackRat4Je sus 01/16/2004
Sue Thomas is a positive role model for handicapped (especially deaf) persons everywhere, the main message of the show being that if you put your mind to it, you can succeed no matter what the circumstances are. With all the garbage that's on the tube nowadays, I hope this program lasts for a long time.
johnnysgirl620 02 12/29/2003
I love this show..it's so awesome!!! I don't miss a single episode...In fact after watching this show I'm considering looking into a job w/the F.B.I. By the way, Bobby is so cute, I think he is the cutest guy on the show. Keep this show on the air!!!
