As I've said, Disturbed is my favorite band of all time, and I believe will be one of or if not the best TRUE Metal band of all time. I was dissapointed at first with this album, mainly because it was a slow down from "The Sickness". At that, "The Sickness" was a hard rock or nu-metal album, but "Believe" is a TRUE Metal album. The more I listened to it the more I liked it, with tracks such as Prayer, Liberate, Remember, and Intoxication which are all very awesome songs. Another good one being Rise. If you are a TRUE fan of metal you should love this album. For it is TRUE Metal unlike all that bullsh*t screamo crap flooding this world. And their new album as come out also, "Ten Thousand Fists" this is also a great Metal album, it has the aggression of Sickness and the melody of Believe as stated by the Great David Draiman on his review of the album. So once again, Disurbed is the future of Metal. So piss of all you haters!

I don't care for the cd much, but I did care about 'Liberate.' That song is worth buying the cd for alone. 'Waiting for your mother, Messiah, take away all the hatred that darkens the light in your eyes...Liberate your mind, your mother is narrow-minded...' The rest of the songs were OK, mostly mediocre. Innovation is missing, and Disturbed seems to be content with cruise control. Maybe they thought their fans would buy it just because it's got their name on it?? PLEASE. I only bought it cause of Liberate.

Believe is an excellent album, not as good as The Sickness but very close. David Draiman(vocals) has not lost the voice and NEVER will. Words cannot describe how incredible this band is. Ozzy Osbourne once said that Disturbed is the Future of Rock. The Ozz man cant be wrong. I'ma Believer(new album) will be comming out very soon!

Fantastic. Different from The Sickness, which had me nervous at first, but who wants the same album twice?

0.5 Stars out of 5 Stars: Terrible! I'm sure you are all acquainted with the sound of Disturbed by now (unfortunately). Ooh-Ahh, Uhh-Ahh, growl, etc. "Believe" (2003) is the second release from the inhabitants of the current flavor-of-the-month genres "rap/rock" and "nu-metal", and is just as horrible as the "music" of fellow, current untalented "bands" such as Linkin Park, Korn, Limp Bizkit, Evanescence, and the like. Unless you are a female monkey in desperate need of a mating call (ooh-ahh-h-h), a fan of the aforementioned "rock/metal music" of today, or somehow enjoyed their first album, "The Sickness" (2001), do not consider purhasing this "album".

I wasn't sure whether I liked this one more than their first. So I rated all of the tracks on each album on a scale of 1-10, and they ended up tying with a 9.33 average.

I was really looking forward to this album since their first album "The Sickess" was incredible. Sad to say, I have never been so disappointed in an album release as I was with this one. The album starts out strong with the best songs, "Prayer" and "Liberate," then it's start to become a mix up of good and bad points leaving the listener with a catastrophie in the end. About 4 (5 to strech it) of the trackas are actually good. The rest of the twelve tracks are either medioker or just plain suxk. This is really not due to the all rock and less electronic style in Believe. The songs are just weak altogether. Next time they hit the studio, they need it check the formula that makes their music great, and fix it.
