This is a clean and open space coffee shop in 22nd and Valencia (half a block away from Ritual Roasters). For different reasons I have heard about this place too much lately, so I gave it a try last week. I went in and I liked the vibe, tables filled with people studying, working, chilling.

I walked to the counter, to get my latte, but there was nobody to serve me. I looked around the bar and it seemed that there was nobody on duty. I waited for about 5 minutes, and nothing, so I walked out without trying their coffee.

I love the ambiance in this cute cafe, and the coffee is delicious.
The staff are friendly and perhaps too honest (the one woman kept on
telling everyone their relatively high priced baked goods were all
from costco).

I think some of their other foods are from there too, notably the soup
I tried today which was clearly of the canned variety. Despite that,
as a coffee shop, Marsh Cafe is great. Free Wifi, lots of tables, a
nice atmosphere and new daytime hours make it a great alternative to
the crowded Ritual Roasters, nearby.

I love this place, it is affordable, quiet, and away from the yuppie scene of the Mission district (ie Ritual).

Clerks are offbeat and nice, make me want to come back again and again.
