She is funny and I love all the characters in the Stephanie Plum series! Grandma really cracks me up. I have also read some of her other books like Motor mouth and Metro Girl and I liked them but not as as much as I like the Plum series. I am looking forward to number 15.

Too everything. Too scripted, too boring, too short, WAY too repetitive and I don't mean with people. It's all recycled - the dialogue, plots, action, characters, scenes. I loved the first books but hey, let's get real. We all expect a character to change, grow, learn to drive and control her eating and make a choice for romance. I passed on 10 & 11, tried 12 and knew then why I had stopped.

I give her a three because the Stephanie Plum novels are fantastic but her other books leave a lot to be desired, like the ones coauthored with Charlotte Hughes (yawn)

I agree with most that she is def. funny and you really get to know and love her characters. Personnaly, I'm in love with Morreli :o) However, I think that some of the plots are starting to sound the same. I have yet to get into her "full" books.

Started strong but has tailed off badly. Suspect she only had about three good books in her.

If there was a number higher than 5, Janet would get it. Her writing is so easy to read, and she is so funny. Her number books (one for the money, two for the dough...) are the best. She has other books out that start with the word full (full tilt...). These books are great, too, but the number books are the best. You're really able to see the characters and get to know them. I think I'm in love with all the characters! :)

Janet Evanovich is one of the greatest authors today. Her characters are funny and easily related to. For anyone looking for a author that writes on the lighter side of mystery, this is the author to read. You won't want to put her books down.
