Just bloody awful.

I have enjoyed the series, but time has passed to quickly between books. The characters are fantastic, but the relationship between Nefret and ramses ruined it for me. It would have been wonderful to see them grow in their on way and meet new people, that wa new characters could have come into play. Amelia and Emerson are still the best!!

Absolutely my fave author for the last few years. I have read the whole Amelia series three times now and each time I can't put them down till I'm done.

There can be no better author than Elizabeth Peters!! I love every single book in her Amelia Peabody series. From Amelias "premonitions of peril", to the well awaited union of Ramses and Nefret, these books are a wonderful, insightful, and educatoinal read for anyone who wants to learn about one of the most intriquing and intresting times in history!! I can't wait for the next book to come out so I can add it to all the others in my growing collection!!

I love the Amelia Peabody Mystries Series so much. I am obsessed about them. I am counting down to 'The Golden One.'

For an entertaining, satisfying read, you can't find a better bet than these wryly intelligent mysteries. Peters' characters are multi-dimensional and it's easy to grow to love them as much as any in literature. I can't wait for the next Amelia Peabody book!

Elizabeth Peters is the queen of romantic suspense and her Amelia Peabody series is the best!

I love Elizabeth Peters because her heronies have wit, intelligence, a sense of humor, and above all think independently. Victoria Bliss is my favorite all time literary character.
